If you believe in science and care about protecting the American people...then you don’t give a flying fuck about what another party or anybody else thinks. You can’t please everyone. You can’t. It’s about doing what’s morally and ethically right. Not about the media or the state of the economy during this. No one wants this.

That’s not how our government works.

You see a Pandemic coming and you think it’s going to be bad right? You don’t have an open purse to buy masks and ventilators. Trump would’ve had to ask a Congress for money to fight a disease that may/may not enter the US.

Maybe he should’ve done that? Would it have been approved? Who knows?

The reason why I started this thread was to see if anyone from the left would give Trump an ounce of credit for being the FIRST Western leader to impose a travel ban! No such luck. It's sad and scary how indoctrinated the left is. It's not that difficult. I'm fiscally conservative and I've often given Trudope credit for eliminating the two week wait period for Employment insurance. He did this a few years ago. I think I even posted on this forum that, that was/is a good thing. I never understood waiting two weeks to start collecting Employment insurance when you lose your job through now fault of your own. Now that the economy is going down the shitter this policy change enacted by Trudope is a great move during this time of crisis. Not that hard folks.

If quarantining was so successful why did the infection rate jump from less than 100 on Feb 3 to over 53,000K? Virus was already in the US. First confirmed case Jan 20. If banning flights does not help why is every nation doing it?
