Savage that’s a great point. Most people are simply too emotionally invested in the result to think rationally

But I am the vanguard of being rational and value money too much for that to be a problem, I am relentless in making sure objectivity is paramount
PatsFan1283-I would bet you do a lot better than most over time if you use that philosophy when wagering!!

As the old saying goes, "one should bet with his head rather than his heart!!"

but if you truly believe GOP about to run up some big numbers with minorities then I’d just bet GOP, I dunno. I personally don’t see that barring recession. But I didn’t in 2020 either despite the fuss and thus bet Biden.
My decision in making this wager doesn't lie with who I think will gain or lose votes

It simply has to do with if people think Biden will make it to the next election for various & obvious reasons

As you mentioned earlier, they may grade it a loser even if he isn't the Democratic winner

That's something I have to look further into

But if Biden does run, I lean him being the victor

If he wins, I win

If he loses, I win

Hache the thread seemed to lock in the OS so I made a thread on it, you can delete it

Predict has Biden 65% or so to be the nom, which lines up with -110/230 discrepancy. No opinion on that really, sounds right. He’ll probably run, but you’re definitely trying to hit a parlay at +230

He has to run and then win

They will not cancel the wager though, I’ve already explained this. You just lose. Why would a +230 be cancelled if he doesn’t run? The 230 vs 110 discrepancy is you are being given more reward for betting on Biden instead of Dems because again, there is some chance he may not run.

I agree with this 100% but just hoping there is a clause that says better

However, he isn't +230 because of that reason

He went from minus to +230 because of the recent poll this week

So if Biden...ya know, "strokes out" or replaced, Hache loses his wager?

The Liberal newspaper Washington post poll has Trump 20 points ahead of Biden … Better jump on those + odds on Trump today…

No telling how many ways Biden might not even make it till then, I can think of 17 ways without even breaking a sweat.

He was always around +180 to +220 range, now a bit lower

you actually have threads from 4-6 months ago that you posted, check them. You will see those as the odds

I guess a site could’ve posted Biden -130 to lure some people but he was always +180ish,
was usually him around that and Dems/GOP close to 50/50

I mean guys gonna be 82 in Jan ‘25, slightest hint of weakness and they’re gonna can him for Newsom or some other gov like the KY guy Brashear

If Newsom gets in you will lose money and be distraught over political results, double whammy

My guess is most inside party want to replace him, but good luck telling a sitting President that. I wouldn’t give that up either, I’d be like y’all gotta kill me

You don’t have to look no further .
I can assure you if Biden is not the nom and the Dems still win the election you lose

This is not difficult to understand and requires no research

The bet you want to be making is Dems -120 which Pats told you several times already .

On that bet yes you win the bet even if Biden is not the nom and the Dems win

Newsom is a smooth mothafucka too, the way he lies or fudges facts reminds me of Obama, if there weren’t literal shit on the streets of SF might be his time to wear the stripes

I have no interest in -120

Huge difference between risking -6000 to win 5000 compared to risking -5000 to win 10,150

The purpose of the thread is asking the opinion of those who follow their party closer and how confident they are in Biden making it that far and running again if he does
