"Case numbers remain persistently high across much of the country, though reports of new cases have dropped considerably since late July, when the country averaged well over 60,000 per day. That summer surge began to subside after many states reimposed restrictions on business and gatherings, and as more places required masks to be worn in public.

Deaths, though still well below their peak spring levels, averaged more than 1,000 per day in early and mid August, more than double the average from early July.

Canada defeating the entire USA.

Facts don't lie.

due to incompetent liberal politicians. Canada is run by liberals as well.

if you had cities the size of New York, you’d be basically like a third world nation right now. That’s pretty obvious. Quebec got hit hard and Quebec doesn’t even have densely populated areas.

embarrassing.

if Quebec got hit that hard just because of a little city like Montreal, imagine how you’d have handled it if you had dozens of cities bigger than Montreal?

On a provincial level only 3 tiny populated provinces out of 10 in Canada have what are labelled "liberal" governments.

Relative to its population & number of deaths, Montreal's C-19 numbers are vastly superior to those of New York City. That is, if Montreal had the same size of population as NYC did.

Ditto for a comparison of Vancouver to LA:

Vancouver: 203 deaths
LA: 5545 deaths

The CDC on Thursday released its forecast
for national deaths related to Covid-19 for the next four weeks. An estimated 4,000 to 8,300 new deaths are expected to be recorded during the week ending 19 September, the CDC said.
The CDC’s worst-case scenario would see 207,000 deaths in total reported by that date.

At least 180,000 people have died with Covid-19 so far in the US, the highest number in the world, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins Universit
.The US of course has a large population. At 55.27, the US’s death rate per 100,000 people is the 11th highest in the world, the university’s analysis shows.

Growing up in northern Vermont I spent a lot of time across the border in la belle province. Let me just say, Vive Le Quebec Libre! It is a beautiful place, full of history and vibrant people, not like that fucking redneck sewer Tennessee, no offense

I was actually there last weekend to visit.

Hotel was like a ghost town. I stayed near the airport and heard very little air traffic. The food was extremely good. Streets were closed off to traffic so we just parked and walked around. Felt very safe.

Oh and the women were beautiful.
