Population of Quebec: 8.485 million

Deaths from Covid in Quebec: 9,060

Population of Tennessee: 6.829 million

Deaths from Covid in Tennessee: 1,470

Canada is doing great with Covid. LOL.

Oh, and by the way:

Quebec: 644,000 square miles

Tennessee: 42,181 square miles

Tennessee is insanely more densely populated than Quebec.

This is stuff you won't hear on the news when they say Canada is handling this great while Trump and Republican states are botching it.

Use your head.

And just so we are 100% clear... a significantly higher percentage of people in Quebec are wearing masks than are wearing masks in Tennessee.

And interestingly, both have similar demographics of 65 and over - Quebec at 16.1% and Tennessee at 16.7%.

Based on your numbers, I would have thought Quebec would be much older, considering this virus affects older people much more.

Canadian healthcare is god fucking awful in terms of actually getting timely care. That's what the socialists who preach socialized medicine never like to admit. You can go into a Canadian hospital with a torn ACL and they'll tell you to come back in a month for your MRI. You can go in with a hand gushing blood and wait for 12 hours if they decide you probably won't bleed out.

Masks do absolutely nothing to stop the spread of viruses. In Japan after they locked down the first time they came out with a mask mandate for everyone in phase 2 now they have double the amount of cases than in phase 1 lol. Same with Isreal and a bunch of other countries. I agree with you on healthcare in Canada. People always say "It must be so nice to get free health care" well it's not free when your paying 40% tax. I herniated two discs in my lower back about 4 years ago I went to my family doctor and asked for an MRI she said I had to be in pain for 2 months straight before she would put me on a waiting list for an MRI. Then it's another 2 to 3 months wait till you actually get it done. I just paid privately got it done the same week lol.

It is always great to make a case with inaccurate numbers....you should consider a career in politics. The deaths are for the entire country. USA has over twice as many deaths per million as Canada.

Thanks to New York, New Jersey, Umass, and California. All run by liberals at almost every level, often times supermajority political power.

But you're right.

Quebec's death per million is 675.66

Florida's death per million is 473.32

And Democrats say that Canada's handling of this has been phenomenal, while Florida's handling has been a calamity.

Would you say that's accurate based on those numbers, fucktard?

By the way, we can dive deeper.

Tennessee's death per million is 224.7. One third that of Quebec's despite the fact it is a far more densely populated area than Quebec.

Look at every state with a Republican governor just about and the death per million will all be lower than Quebec.

Explain that. Try to do so without changing topics.

You are the one changing the numbers, You posted Quebec had over 9,000 deaths? Which one is it.....just keep changing the numbers.....you can confuse everyone? Where are your stats?

I posted a link that clearly showed you are wrong.

Who is the comedian that says here is your sign.

Northern Star called you out for fake numbers & he's a fucktard? :ohno:

Gotta love it when a guy is completely wrong, gets called out, and deflects to another argument.

how the fuck would the updated numbers make me “completely wrong?”

the point of the thread is that Tennessee is doing exponentially better than Quebec, as are most conservative states, and the media says the exact opposite.

I am still 100% right on the underlying point.

be a man and admit you were wrong about me “being completely wrong”

Media: Canada is handling this beautifully compared to America and Republicans.

Javy: actually Quebec’s death rate per million is around 4 times higher than Tennessee’s and most other Republican states

Idiot missing the point: no actually its only 3 times higher, you’re completely wrong

lol

Does it even need to be stated that a comparison between a - CHERRY PICKED - state and a - CHERRY PICKED - province...does NOT equal a comparison between two countries? Apparently so.

New Zealand = 22 dead
USA = over 170,000 dead

Canada = 9000 dead
USA = over 170,000 dead

Look how flat the curve is in Canada:

Now compare the USA:

Why the USA has failed - so very miserably - re C-19:

Tennessee cases & deaths are spiking compared to Quebec.

Quebec was hit hard early in the pandemic with a tidal wave, while out in the sticks Tennessee obviously avoided that because, well, they're out in the sticks, like an island in the middle of an ocean.

Presently Quebec is beating the virus & Tennessee is losing to the virus.
