Great. Now who makes the playoffs? Top 3 in each division or top 6 overall? Cause if it's top 6 I think it's makes this move mute. Not trying to sway this either way. Cause if a 4th place team on one division has a way better reg. season than the 2nd or 3rd in the other...He's going to feel cheated. I think my feelings are still...that's the way to go. Otherwise...why the change. I don't think any of us really know how good a fantasy player any of us are. And for the record, believe me or not, I've been in leagues for many years and havn't won one of these in quite some time. I think it's all a crapshoot either way.

League Manager can edit the playoffs anyway.
So do we want Top 3 in each Division??
That means Wales #1 would get a bye and Wales #2 amd # would play. The winner would play Wales #1 and then Campbell Survivor for the Championship--all 1 week each.

Anyone pretest the draft capability? I have Java downloaded on my laptop and each time I go to "Test Draft" it brings me to the Java Download Window. Any suggestions?

Fellas, be prepared for some scheduling "imbalance" in that I'm pretty sure we'll each play each other team one time (13 weeks) and then it will rotate back to beginning and replay your first 10 opponents.

Thus we'll likely see some of us play more games "in division" than not.

All good. As long as I pin WW, Vic and ARTIE to the mat and serve as league spoiler, I'll be happy to finish 6-17 after 23 weeks.

Sincerely

Shallow Hal

First off you better be concerned about beating Mrs Whale(but you will not be pinning her).
don't believe there is a way to counteract the schedule as it is done by the computer...
Also--your record can't be 6-17 it will be like 92-150-11 as it counts every category as 1 each week-so you are playing for 11 points each week

Well yeah...

1) I had little hope of beating Mrs WW, since the SheBar has educated me in past two seasons that the ladies whup that ass in fantasy football.

2) I was reefering to the weekly summary score with my 6-17.

So I'm looking for some 11-0 weeks vs the Evil Three and to hell with the rest of the weeks

Okay...enough jackin' around....

Gotta run make some collections and a bank deposit, then back to the office for at least 12 minutes of live draft preparation

Won't be able to make the draft till around 10ish as I have some party for one my gf's friends I have to go to for a bit, so hopefully I come back to some good early drafting. Updated my top 100 just now. I thought the goalies were incredibly overvalued. Had guys like Cam Ward rated higher than Daniel Alfredsson. I couldn't believe ESPN had Martin Brodeur at #1 either. I would probably take Lundquist before him for goalies.

Lets have a good draft and an even better season fellas. Good luck tonight, hopefully the computer doesn't screw me too bad in the early rounds!

The reason Ward gets rated higher than Alfredo is the lower supply of topnotch tenders vs the supply of topnotch forwards.

I agree. I thought ESPN's draft order was ludacris and either illustrates how ill informed they are or their apathy towards hockey.
