If anyone is interested on a target roulette system to try out contact Will to get my e-mail address and put in the subject line " target roulette" . This is along the same line as what gbogo is doing. I have done it with play money and real money to test the theory. We will will talk more if anyone is interested.....I am not going to waste my time if not.......

Waste of time

But others may want to have a look. If you believe, and it seems to be working, and it makes you happy, then I am happy for you. I just don't believe there is an advantage, so I feel an obligation to point this out. This forum should be about playing with an advantage and I don't think roulette is viable per pattern recognition.

Save your money.

I can't believe people with hundreds or thousands of posts would still believe in this crap (I'm also thinking of the martingale+favourites thread in the mlb forum).

I don't think you are in a position to insult anyone's intelligence (your response to heatohio).

Many claim they are professional gamblers, but I find it hard to believe that any professional gambler would want to post on a forum on the internet. Why would they want to post their plays on the internet? If anything, it would be for line minipulation and not to help people win money. Old BW use to move the lines. He is/was a professional gambler.

With a forum of information like this I would believe that there are plenty of professional gamblers that work the forums for information or just to see what the masses are on. I wouldn't doubt it that there are guys that bet for a living that work the forums.

Maybe, if they have time to filter through all the crap and bs from every yahoo on here. Not being rude, but honest. I've heard many poeple claim to be professional gamblers. True professional gamblers will never come out and tell you anyways.

i write on professional trading forums on the internet

do i get money for it or some general satisfaction - no not really

but by writing things down and explaining things it helps disciplining my mind each day

its a job for me

horse racing/dog racing i can beat those with a system i developed which was initially shown to me by a guy i worked with - he was a statisician not a real gambler and i enhanced it

casino gambling as i said roulette for me is beatable - blackjack is not

thats just me - im not selling a thing im stating my opinions and what i do

if you disagree or lack the discipline to control yourself then you shouldnt gamble at all

goodluck with your choices.

Gbogo I agree with you that you can recognize patterns in roullette. A lot of times the dealer will fall into a rythym on how they launch the ball. This will allow them to hit the same area of the board more times than not. I assume you watch there launch point and than determine what section to play on the board. Also, this is the reason why the dealer is suppose to touch the wheel to change the speeds. Most people do not have the board memorized and are unable to do this. Some dealers can get close to hitting what ever number they want. I have actually won a good chunk of money off of roullette a few years ago, now have moved and don't have the luxury of playing. gl to you

gbogo in my opinion if you have the ability to beat roulette you should find blackjack a much easier game. Many pros beating BJ rather then roulette........the numbers are there.

blackjack wasnt consistent enough for me

it seemed to come down to one or two hands when the setup is perfect but the dealer lucks out

whether its the other players coming and going messing up the cards, whether we arent going far enough into the end of the shoe - whatever the reason I found day in day out I couldnt keep the bankroll consistent enough.

roulette you can pick and choose your rolls. when the table spins perfect patterns you are gaining so many more units than you lose giving you extra time to do better- and your bankroll will increase more easily.

maybe its just me

Its like betting player banker baccaret ..the edge maybe lower for the house but how exactly do you beat the game everyday? you know you have to have a very strong pattern and press your bets but in doing so you give the house the chance to come back against you very fast.

anyway thats why financial market s provide a great outlet

you can limit your risk yet gain multiples of profit

goodluck

If you're talking about officially being a pro gambler or not, for taxes or whatever, I believe it's up to you whether you want to be or not. There are pros and cons to each side...
