not really , maybe Wilheim could give a strong opinion, or old man Ted.... I think most will concede its Johnny Bench...one thing i did not realize about Bench until a few years ago, he had a very serious operation ( I believe it was cancer actually) and after that he was not the same player, according to Bench himself....and if you look back at his career he did fall off the table after that...

He was also a great pitcher with a great world series record, would have won a CY YOung award if they had them back then and was probably the best left handed pitcher in baseball for 5 years
