Nothing at all in my email archive involving the thread starter.

As far as I am concerned private deals like this are just that private and Patsfan1283 is under no obligation to reveal any names unless he wants to.

These issues can be delicate matters and we all should reserve judgement until all the facts that are going to be made available have been brought to the forefront for evaluation.

I am not talking about Patsfan1283 now, but any poster or even newbie can register and say so and so owes me money for 6 months now and won't pay, then the burden of proof (at least half) falls on the accused.

Slippery slope without a doubt.

A few things...

Don't really wanna drop the guys name here because that does nothing for me. Second, and I want to make this clear, this was NOT an NBA bet and had NOTHING to do with that post because it was not an NBA bet. It was made well before that, 6 months ago, like I said.....


So yeah Murphy, that isn't the bet and I have been waiting for months. Also, we made the bet through email incase your wondering......

Anyways, we'll see what happens........

I did factor in the risk/reward of him stiffing me, however, I liked the bet and it wasn't for an overly huge # or anything so I figured the guy was good for it, seemed honorable, read his posts etc.....Definitely just gotta forget about it if he doesn't pay....

I will throw this out there though, I've exchanged emails with Wil to get the posters email when I made the bet, so not sure why he is saying we didn't. Maybe because it was so far back he deleted it? Not sure, but Wil you and I have exchanged emails regarding me getting the email of this individual.

Then you gave me your whole spiel about the risk involved and I'm a stone moron so I ignored that..lol

Anyways, thats about all I can add to the story so far....

There are people here that hate my style, but there are also people that like me.

Does not seem to be very many people that are neutral.
Most of the people in the baseball forum dont even pay attention to the nonsense in the other forums.

They are happy with the consistant winners that I have put up for 4 years.

It would be very hard to find anyone at any forum that has been more consistant in bases over the last 4 seasons. Tommorows Newspaper is about the only other one that has numbers close to mine over the last 4 seasons.

The people in the baseball forum appreciate that. The people in the dick measuring forum dont.

All I have to go by is your AOL email address that is in you're profile, I ran a search for it and came up empty. If you used another address than it is is mixed in with 1,000 other emails. I don't have anything in my archive that includes PatsFan1283 either, another empty search.

Good point wil, I used a different email address so thats why you couldn't trace it. Anyways, I'll send you an email probably to prove that....

Also, it was a while ago, about 8 months ago. Then bet got settled about 6 months ago....(NFL playoffs)


I actually read my email archives with the guy today and he really has been nice, respectful on email and he always made it sound like he was gonna pay me and just ran into some $ issues. I dunno if he was blowing smoke up my ass but if he was thats A LOT of work when he could've just blew me off...That is why I find the whole thing weird....

I can honestly say I'm not some joke who wastes his time posting on message boards trying to cause conflict or drama, I mean I figured I was getting paid for 6 months so I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice on how to handle it since people on this board have probably made bets with others before.


The conventional wisdom seems to be to say who I made the bet with and possibly get them to pay, however, I don't think that will work. I'm not trying to string this along or anything so I'll just say who it is...

The bet was with 5 Star Bomb and it was for $300 on who would win the AFC Pats or Colts (neither win is a push) and it was made around Nov/Dec....Anyways the Pats won and he told me he would pay me many times but just never got around to doing so, hopefully, he still plans on paying me but I am not sure this is the case....

Chopper is OK (for a Brave fan :missingte )

He's a good baseball capper that can become a great capper if he studies the other side of the coin on a game he's totally convinced of.

Last season Chopper you were totally convinced on Sunday night baseball that Lincecum in his debut would shut down the Phillies against Hamels.
You wouldn't consider why the Phils would win that game, and went with Lincecum.
That's just one example, overall a very good capper that can improve.

What PatsFan1283 says is all true, he even told me the exact bet. He emailed me with the addy he used back in December of 2007 (different from his Rx profile addy) asking for 5StarBomb's email address. I have it and my response in my archive. I sent copies back to him this morning.


5StarBomb stalling on paying another debt. Go figure.
