Notes on today's games:
DETROIT vs. KANSAS CITY (at London, England)
Degenerate Special & Stinker: Lions 1 cover this season and KC broke 0-5 ATS run last week. Lions on 1-10 ATS run and the Chiefs are 2-7 ATS before playing the Broncos. Andy Reid is 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in his career against the Lions and Detroit on a 0-5 ATS run after facing Minny and have failed to cover 7 of the last 9 on the road. London favorites with the better record are 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS. Alex Smith last 65 games as a starter: 42-22-1 SU
MINNESOTA at CHICAGO
Minny has covered 5 straight ATS this year (now on 13-3 ATS run). However, the Vikings rank 30th in passing and 30th in total offense.
Bears off the bye have a 2-0-1 ATS run and covered both games vs. the Vikings last season. Also, Bears are 6-1 SU/ATS the last seven series games and 10-2 ATS as a host in this series. Vikings are just 2-8 ATS as road favorites lately and Chicago is 7-1 ATS vs an opponent off 3 or more covers.
TAMPA BAY at ATLANTA
Atlanta started the year 4-0 ATS and has now lost 3 straight against the number. Atlanta just 4-7 as home chalk since 2013. Lovie is 7-4 ATS on the road since taking over in Tampa and the Bucs are 11-0 ATS as road dogs off scoring >27 pts. Bucs 11-2 ATS last 13 November games
NY GIANTS at NEW ORLEANS
After dropping six straight at home, the Saints are now 2-0 SU/ATS in the dome and have won & covered 3 of their last 4. New Orleans is 4-0 ATS as host in this series.
The Giants gave up 460 yards to Dallas last week and the Giants are 0-5 SU/ATS in non- division games after facing the Cowboys. The Saints on the other hand are 23-9-2 ATS at home vs Non-division opponents
SAN FRANCISCO at ST. LOUIS
SF won and covered last two at Rams but now on a 1-7 ATS run vs DIV and are just 3-10 last 13 ATS overall. Kaepernick as a dog in division games: 1-6 SU and 1-5-1 ATS
Rams 9-0 ATS as .500+ vs opponent off DD SU loss. Rams are 7-0 ATS after playing an AFC opponent and 6-1 ATS in games after allowing less than 10 points when facing a teamoff a double-digit loss. Rams have yielded only 9 ppg last two at home while Gurley has rushed for 433 yards (6.3 ypc) in the last the games!
ARIZONA at CLEVELAND
Cards are 11-4 vs. spread last 15 reg.- season road games, and are 7-0 ATS vs an opponent off a DD SU loss. Carson Palmer has won 18 of 22 starts Arizona is 23-10 SU last 33 (no matter who the QB). Also, AZ 21-6-1 ATS against non-division opponents. Arians17-8 ATS when his teams are favored. Note AZ has been out-gained in all but 1 road game and this is their 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] road game in 4 weeks.
Browns 11-4-1 last 16 as dog for Pettine the dog is 12-3-1 ATS in Cleve games, & the Browns are 9-0 ATS as non-division home dogs. Also, 6-0 ATS off scoring less than 14 pts. Brown’s rush defense allowing 5 ypc and Browns are 0-4 SUATS all-time against .600 or greater NFC West teams.
CINCINNATI at PITTSBURGH
Last game against the Bengals Roethlisberger had 317 passing yards and two touchdowns. Steelers have won & covered last 3 in this series 6-2 SU/ATS the last eight games as a host in this series. Home $: 12-6 ATS last 18 reg.-season games at home and if dog, Pitt 8-1-2 ATS the past 11 times when getting points at Heinz Field. Steelers are 12-1 ATS vs .500+ foes (4-0 this year).
Cincy on 7-1-1 ATS run and have 17 sacks in six games.
SAN DIEGO at BALTIMORE
SD just 4-14 last 18 on board. This is the Chargers’ third 1pm EST start this year and they are 0-2 ATS this year in such games. SD 1-12 ATS during their past 13 AFC matchups. The Chargers are 1-5 ATS in games after facing the Raiders and have given up at least 24 points in each game this year. Note: San Diego #1 offense in league (430 ypg)
Baltimore 2-12 ATS off a Monday road game but Ravens are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS as home favorites before a bye. And, Balt off a loss by TD or more: 11-1 SU and 9-3 ATS
TENNESSEE at HOUSTON
Texans have covered 7 of last 8 meetings. HOU are 6-3-1 ATS prior to a bye and O'Brien is a 6-1 chalk vs an opponent off a non-division game.
Ken Whisenhunt: 4-30 SU streak as head coach. Titans 3-9-1 ATS last 13 away. Titans are 6-21 ATS in their last 27 games and 3-15-2 ATS versus AFC opponents. Titans are 3-15 ATS in division play vs an opponent off a DD SU loss and Titans are 1-9 ATS versus opponents that allowed 40 or more points last game. Titans just 3-13 ATS off a SU loss and have given up 18 sacks in their last five games
NY JETS at OAKLAND
Jets 5-1 ATS for Bowles and now on 8-1-spread run since late 2014. But, Jets are 0-4 ATS at AFC West recently. NFL road favorite (Jets) that lost as a 7+ point underdog the week before: 24-15 ATS (since 1989). Jets sacked only 4 times this season (least in NFL)
Oakland comes in having scored on the first 7 possessions vs. San Diego. Carr 11 TD’s vs. 3 INTs on the year. Raiders just 21-36-1 ATS as a home dog and are 2-11 ATS following a SU win the past 4 seasons. The Raiders have lost to the Jets each of the past two seasons by an average of 7.5 points. Oakland is 2-13 SU and 3-12 ATS in games off a SU division win.
SEATTLE at DALLAS
Seattle comes in after allowing just 8 first downs sand 142 total yards vs. SF. Pete 35-21-4 ATS in regular season since late 2011. Seahawks are 1-3 SU on the road this year and Russell Wilson has been sacked an NFL-high 31 times. But, Seattle run: 6-0 SU and ATS in games before its bye week. Seattle favored off a division win: 13-34 ATS
Dallas 1-6 vs. line last 7 at Arlington since mid 2014 and Dallas has lost four in a row. Dallas as dogs by more than a FG: 17-4 ATS
GREEN BAY at DENVER
Only 4th game out of last 54 that Denver has been an underdog. Broncos 24-2 SU in regular season at home since Manning arrived in 2012. Denver has only been a home dog 1 other time with Manning as QB (2012 +1 vs Texans 31-25 Houston win) The Broncos’ offense has managed only nine touchdowns this season and Manning leads the league in interceptions with 10 has thrown 3 pick-sixes this year!
Surprising? Pack 14-12 SU in regular season away games since 2012.
Post-bye records: Denver is 14-3 SU and ATS at home after Bye week. Green Bay is 10-1 ATS in its last eleven games after bye.
