primetime props 6-3 +3

K Love O 17.5pts +110 at 5D

Kyrie is out, Shumpert is out, Thompson just got into camp a few days ago. Both Blatt and LeBron have said they're going to lean on Love more and the Bulls seem to be going in a different direction in terms of style and are starting Mirotic next to Gasol upfront. Noah/Taj on the bench so Love shouldn't have to see them as much.

Think he gets it going tonight.

MLB = -10.23 Units

Football = 42-59

Hoops = 3-3

Fade Away Boys!

PITT +2
The Dog has covered all 7 PITT games this year and is on a 62-37 run in their last 99. This is only NC's second true Road game this season and they've surrendered 295 points in their last 7 Road games (42 ppg). On the Road vs Top25 teams NC is 2-23 SU since 2001. Throw in the fact that PITT blew a late lead in this game last year and absorbed a brutal loss and it all points (gulp) one way.

ATL Hawks -5
ATL is 25-6 as a Fav of 6.5 or less. The Knicks are 4-14 ATS at Home when hosting a team off a Loss. And should this line close below 5 another stat kicks in as NYK is 9-25 as a Dog of +1 to +4.5.

Ha...you amateur!

I'm on a 10-33 run at the moment. In fact, if anyone on this forum would like to make this bet with me, I'd be more than happy to do so. I'll bet anyone here that I'll post 100 picks and won't win more than 35 of them. I'm not talking about crazy ass +1500 longshots either...just regular sides and totals.

That's how bad I've been sucking lately...110% confident I won't even crack 35%. Anything that can go wrong will, unless you're fading. Then you'll discover the wonder of being on the right side every time. I have Arizona State -3 for the 2h (making them a pick for the game). They just went up by a TD with seven mins to go, and I can't wait to see how they blow the game.

Whatever the fuck is causing this, I literally would spend a weekend with Finch in Vegas if it meant the opportunity to strangle my shit luck to death right now. But...any takers?

Damn it got mushy in here rather quickly.

It is funny how psychology effects your approach and confidence. I starting writing up some college picks yesterday and I keep staring at them thinking "these games suck."
There is always a rhythm to the season and so these things happen but I am starting to feel as if there is a black cloud over my head when I whittle the card down to 4 or 5 games.
As an example, I loved Oregon last night. But of course didn't post it (I was fired up to watch Pitt lose).

LOL, well hopefully the weekend can be a profitable one.

I keep looking at the mich/minn game. From an emotional standpoint, shouldn't this be a tough task for Michigan to cover two td's? Throw in the coach switch for Minnesota, which always seems to favor that team for at the least the first week, and I'm thinking this is a tough week for Michigan. Close low scoring game I'm expecting.....or at least hoping. You have any numbers in my favor?

Vitt,
In Minny’s favor:
- Kill is widely beloved and if a team is ever fired up to get a win for a coach it will be for this guy
- Minny won last year
- Minny decent home dog lately 4-1 ats and 7-0 ATS as home dogs of 8+
- Michigan on a 4-9 ATS run as an away favorite
- Michigan only had 230 yards of O vs. Sparty
- U of M’s Jake Rudock was QB for Iowa last season and was 10-for-19, 89 yards, 0-1 TD-INT vs. the Minnesota defense
Reasons to be worried:
-Michigan’s defense is tops in the nation in scoring and total defense and are yielding just 2.1 ypc. Minny has to run to win: Minny has dropped 16 straight SU and 8 straight ATS when not getting at least 100 rushing yards
- Michigan has a 83-41points edge in their last 6 games
- Minny only 2 ATS wins on the year
- The Last time Minny won 2 straight in this series was in the 1960’s

Line at 13 at Heritage and with my local, not really sure I’d want it at less than 2 TD’s.

Good stuff. I played it yesterday at +13(heritage) was thinking of adding to it. Maybe I will just wait and see if number climbs to 14 or over. Thanks.

What's really pissing me off is HOW I'm losing games. What few games I win are the right side lately...like the Royals in Game 2. Easy, comfortable win that wasn't ever in doubt.

Arizona St...last night, they have 1st and 10 with 5 mins to go, up 7, throw an inane interception on first down, watch Oregon score a late TD after two improbable 4th down conversions, then the Ducks score the winning TD in OT when it looked to be out of bounds on replay, and finally the dumb fuck ASU coach channels his inner Pete Carroll by throwing a game-ending INT at the goal line when the running game had been working all night. About 10 different things had to go wrong for them to lose, and they all did.

When absolutely no 50/50 plays go your way, it's going to be a fucking miserable run.

I hear ya man. Those kind of runs are brutal. I'm in one right now. Tonight I will play both sides of a basketball game and lose a few dollars juice......just to give a few dollars to the gambling gods.
