Races 1,2 and 5 all ran out but hit the exacta in race 4 paying $25.50 for a $1 wager.

Here is my pick 4 play starting in race 8...1,3,6,12,13/11/6/2,4,7,9,14 costing $25 for a $1 wager.

my top pick in the Travers is #2 American Freedom, trained by Bob Baffert and ridden by Rafeal Bejarano. I expect a very fast pace and usually this horse is on or near the lead but Baffert is taking blinkers off to try and get him to relax and hopefully he will get good position behind a fast pace and run them down in the stretch.

Another horse i like is #14 Gun Runner, who finished 3rd in the Kentucky Derby. This horse has 6 races over fast tracks with 5 wins and the 3rd in the Derby. He likes to be up close and despite the outside post has good tactical speed to get him good position going into first turn.

Another longshot I like is #9 Gift Box, lightly raced and still improving. Trained by Chad Brown, who has 30 wins at the meet so far, this colt is making 2nd start off layoff after finishing 2nd in the Curlin 4 weeks ago. Another step forward and he is right in the mix at a nice price.

Ill be be playing all 3 of these to win, and boxing all three in an exacta.

Race went pretty much as I expected except that the speedy pace horse#1 Arrogate, the other Baffert entry, set blistering fractions and never stopped setting a track record. My 3 selections ran 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Another bat shoved up my rump this afternoon. Turned out I didn't even need Santana to maintain his excellence, only to merely show up. They got him a 5-0 lead and it wasn't enough.

[-2.41 Units] Sunday: OVER 7.5 +00 atl-sf / BAL -1.5 Runs +160 (alt RL) / MIN +175 / CWS -112 / TEX +100

Also betting a 4-Team Parlay with MIA/WAS/DET/STL risking .5 Units to Win 3.4 Units.

I stuck with MIN because every fucking team I get screwed with wins the next day.

Almost every day in MLB 2-4 Road Teams with NO CHANCE win games. Yesterday after the Twins played Pee Wee in the outfield to blow the game, dead in the water teams COL/SD/LAA/OAK all won. All 4 of these teams had lost sat least 8 out of their last 10 Road games and were facing teams in the hunt. That's why the little Parlay shot today....... Don't know if anyone saw the highlights of LAA-DET yesterday but the HP ump should never work an MLB game again.

Well I keep getting held back by bad beats. Last night was MIL + SEA hurting me and still only dropped 3/10ths of a Unit for the evening. Sooner or later I will get over the hump to stay. Deluged right now with tons of games in MLB, NCAAF and NFLX. Probably the 3 busiest days of the year and tons of capping and Stats/Systems to maintain. And yet the usual participants in this forum still find the time to yell the same shit back and forth at each other.

[-.61 Units] wednesDAY: LAD +132 (DH#1) / BOS -1.5 Runs +120

Only played one preseason game this year( lucky win with Jags)and never too interested in first week of college football. That leaves plenty of time to shout back and forth. :103631605 Looking forward to yellow flags for the next 5 months!

Man, this is what makes baseball so brutal.....TBay makes huge base running mistake that cost them a run.....then a 2 out grand slam for sox to lead 5-4......in a game that should probably be an easy +150 cash for tb bettors....turns into a deficit.

Then tie it and blow it again. Type of game that takes a while to recover from if you're on TBay

It's work to maintain those stat and system sheets, eh, Scott.

I keep an extensive Bases Streadsheet that requires from 1-3 hours/day EVERY day. At the end of the year I will do sorts of the info compiled. Not gonna have a year like this again. Next year the work will pay. I have two full years of it now. That's a lot of game situations.

Sorry for bringing your thread down this year, Scott. I expected better.
