taking a break. Chalks seem to dominate in August and September and that's not good for me. Bullpen breakdowns, like tbay tonight, get more frequent late in the year. Good luck to those of you who gamble.

See ya when football kicks off.

What I will never understand is why managers have no handle on when a pitcher "doesn't have it"

The Rays manager took the guy out after the Mets took the lead (W.Flores singled to right, Conforto scored, d'Arnaud to third. Colome pitching. ). That shit is just ridiculous.

Because the next guy is 6 for 33 lifetime against him, or some shit. Or there's a possibility of extra innings and the manager doesn't want to burn another arm yet. Or the pitcher is due up second and you want to PH for him. Or you're a bad manager.

Tampa has some serious Home Field issues Ace. I just did a quick check. 13-20 last 33 Home, 101 Runs for, 140 Runs for Opponent. (no, not a woman - that's how I write it lol)

Yep agree.

That game was very aggravating. Tampa kept getting one run leads and not holding. 1-0,2-1,3-2.

Gained $143 yesterday to creep ahead to +$164.

STL has hurt me this weekend. I like to bet on this team usually, or UNDER. Unfortunately I had them in an 0-14 Road Spot since 2009 that they've now defeated twice (still in effect today). And of course both games went UNDER. STL is now 44-10 UNDER playing anyone besides PHI,PIT,CUBS.

Even worse? KC!!! This team has won 65 games. 48 of those wins were by 2 or more Runs. I have used them on 4 occasions in this thread at -1.5. They won all 4 by ONE RUN. Had these been ML Bets instead my +$164 would be +$1,300. This Angle (we win by 2+ when we win) works for KC. It just doesn't work for KC and me!

Yea. Some of those one run win and runline losses can hurt. Yest KCy was -1' +207. Went up 7-2 with 4 in the bottom of the fifth. Almost had the circle around the winner only to watch as they returned the favor to the White Sox by giving them 4 in the top of the sixth to make it 7-6 KCy. Of course that's where it stayed. I was with ya on that puker, Scott.

But Kansas City at Home has been very solid but under .500 for covering the runline.

58 Home games
26 runline wins
10 one run wins
18 losses

Still damned good though. And a solid profit if you played all KCy home games to the runline.

After all that I'm on the White sox today. Out of 17 Home series, the Royalskis have only three sweeps. 2-0 here with today to go.

I noticed a flaw in my research.

58 Home games
14 Home dogs
9 wins
5 losses
44 Home favs
10 one run wins as fav
17 runline covers
13 SU losses

You confused yet?

^^^ I remember back a few years ago when KC was horrid that the Angels would lose game #3 every time they were ahead 2-0 in a Series. Unless the Opponent was KC, who they would Broom.

Mine today (8/9/15)

ARZ -125

PHI +145

BOS +125

BAL +112

HOU -110

TEX +165

Everyone on the Brewer Train today. Probably a Winner but I had to back off. Value at +130 vs Great Team today. But not interested in the +107 out there now. Besides I already broke both ankles in this Series.

Watch KC romp 9-1 today grrr....

I don't notice the flaw, what is it?

Just looks like records to me. If it's about the Royals I don't follow baseball but if it is statistical I am curious.

When I did the original list I erroneously (of course) assumed all KCy home games were eligible as RL favs. Not. They were lined as dogs 14 times as noted in the corrected second post.

The truth is I don't want that fraud mentioned in any associative way with my work. Did I say work? Something else he knows nothing about. Good luck today.
