Defying, don't you think Trump will represent the repubs in the Nov elections?

I dont know. obviously he's favored to win...
I wish it was Mark Cuban (bad example think he's liberal) or any other high profile proven Successful business man. It's not just trump's politics I hate, i despise the man. I have for years. I love the thought of an outsider bringing the party and political system to their knees against their will, I just wish it was anyone but him...

The fact the Republican base ( not the voters, but what's be dubbed the establishment) doesn't want him.. and he alienates just so many people. I'd say no.

Unfortunately, I think the RNC has the ability and is going to have to use brute force to make something happen.. Plus, I think they know he's completely un-electable in a national campaign against any democrat...

But poll numbers say and odds say he may walk away easily with the Republican nomination, So I'm torn..

It's definitely the most interesting primary of my lifetime.

Of Republican Minorities, no?... Which is about 17% of the minorities that vote..
That's such a TINY fraction of the votes compared to Whites. Minorites will make up, what 2% of his vote.. certainly no where near a 1.3rd

That's in the Republican primary. Not of all eligible voters.

Very small piece of the pie.

This is something people get wrong with Trump. They think he just kinda rolled out of bed one day and ran and his business acumen carried him to 1st place.

He had been planting this for YEARS with TV appearances, doing every interview he could, lining up his ideology exactly how he needed to woo voters, etc

Someone like Mark Cuban or Michael Bloomberg just can't get through a primary on either side. They're too liberal socially for GOP, conservative fiscally for DNC. They can't function within the box.

If Cuban ran he would get 4% of the vote and be out of there fast.

In a perfect world, people would just run on platform and there would be no party system box, but there is like a 20% chance that would yield the next Hitler so we might need to go with the low variance play for awhile.

I actually strongly disagree with this...

Trump was fired because his political incorrectness on a REALITY show.. that's impressive, and definitely not a move to become POTUS

I think any well known outsider that could hold his on a political stage, would be doing this well.. Even better because they would more likely have my support. I'm a true independent that doesn't care for any candidate in this field. I'm just anti-trump right now. If it was Cuban or Bloomberg ect, I definitely could rally behind that.

and LOL your last paragraph...not because I disagree..
More because i feel that's whats happening anyways.

Dude why do you think Bloomberg isn't running on the R side? Why do you think Gary Johnson has to run as a libertarian? It isn't because just anyone with some business success can jump in and run the field.

I'm not saying the process isn't ripe for disruption but not just anyone can do it. You still need a lot of other attributes that Trump possesses. His name recognition and charisma is off the charts, he had the #1 show on television at one point in the not so distant past. Tons of Americans know who he is right when the process started.

In addition, do you realize how much work Trump put in with his base? From appearing on FOXNews weekly to questioning Obama's birth certificate to modifying many of his views on social issues, appearing at political conventions etc.

You significantly underestimate the obstacles that a successful business person has to go through to run. The success Trump is having wasn't just there for the taking for anyone with a few billion, trust me...

Trump has a monopoly of supporters in the rural white south 37% almost seems low.

As a former student of that period I would suggest that far more than 37% of those
living in states fighting the south, the Union States opposed the Emancipation Proclamation.

If this post is to suggest an element of prejudice is prevalent in an unusual numbers of
Trump supporters remember that leading up to the South Carolina primary it was CRUZ
whose pac stated:

A super PAC supporting Sen. Ted Cruz has aired a radio ad and robocall criticizing Donald Trump
and Gov. Nikki Haley (R) for supporting the removal of the Confederate flag from a memorial near
the South Carolina capitol. The issue of the flag, which was removed in July after a highly emotional debate that flared
after nine people were killed at an African-American church in Charleston, had not previously
come up during the state's primary.

The ad and robocall start with audio of Trump stating, "Put it in a museum, let it go." It goes on
to state that Trump supported Haley in removing "the battle flag" from a memorial on the statehouse grounds.

So why in the world would one not realize that if there was any racial reference attached to that
question that it should be referred to Cruz supporters not Trump.

I'm a Trump supporter & if you think 37% of Trump supporters don't approve of the EP it doesn't bother me at all.

Doesn't bother me either Neverbend. Also doesn't bother me that 95 percent of blacks voted for Obama because he is
black. Doesn't bother me that 100 percent of "Black Lies Matter" supporters will vote for a democrat.

See, I understand "White People" have the "Racist Gene". It's not their fault ALL white people are racist and everyone
else gets a free pass on the subject.

What sarcasm................................

As if anything a donkey Democrat says holds any water. You're going to pull the lever for either Hillary or Bernie, that's fucking insanity
