I'm not sure there is great solution. It seems that the poly forum in generally feeds off of personal battles, insults and as you said, the slandering of people. I don't see that changing. That said, I would hope everyone could find a small amount of mutually respect and leave personal information out of the forum.
Did I not admit I shouldn't have brought our personal conflict into this thread? I did. It was a mistake on my part. My bad. I started it but I also tried to end it because it's not the place for it. I think you'd agree AK's issues here are more important than the fact that we aren't fond of one another.

I was under the impression he believed his conduct in this forum and across the Internet was perfectly acceptable and justified. After all, we're just a bunch of "Cliven Bundy psychos" and stuff.
Why the sudden panic? Is he now conceding his behavior was never socially acceptable and therefore is ready to issue a sincere public apology?

BTW: pictures aren't necessarily a bad thing. Many people have posted pictures here, especially during the "bash" years. I have pictures floating around circa 2008 when I met up with barbanman.
