Frankly, I am tired of his act and wouldn't lose a wink of sleep if Jimbo decided to cut him loose. His hubris is becoming too much of a distraction.

Lol, Winston is the best qb in college. His accuracy, pocket awareness, size, strength is by far the best. He'll do great in the NFL if he's not in jail. And who's saying Mariotta is better than him? Got to be on serious drugs to think that.

What does best qb in college have to do with being a good nfl qb?

Hilarious.

Remember in January when I mocked you for saying this about Winston?

And of course you went into a tizzy and even started a whole thread about it.

Good times.

You do realize things change over 10 months right? In January, JW was an outstanding college QB and the clear favorite for the #1 pick in the draft. Since that time, he's been investigated for rape and theft and now the benching and now the recent autograph thing.

In just the last 10 months, things have changed and has nothing to do with the on-the-field talent. If JW was a model student/citizen, you'd be out of your mind to take Mariota over him.

It is interesting how posters like you totally twist things to fit your agenda. As if the events over the last 10 months don't mean anything at all. Of course they do.

Mariota will be a All Pro QB long before Winston ..........I'll back this up with a " nickel "

Yeah, no kidding.

Which is 1 of the reasons why I was mocking your statement that Winston will be the #1 pick in the draft. When people like you take current events and project them as a straight line into the future, it is not a good idea.

I'm glad you've worked your way to such a conclusion.

[h=1]Bo Jackson: I'm done trying to help Jameis Winston[/h]
"I'm the type of person, I will go out of my way to help anybody," Jackson said on the program. "Normally, I don't like giving people advice if I haven't been down that road myself. But if I give you advice on something that I know more about than you by just falling out of bed in the morning, if you can't take that advice and learn from it, then I've got nothing else to do with the situation. You're on your own."
His recent opinion on Winston is different than the one he expressed at Auburn's A-Day game in the spring when asked about Winston as a two-sport athlete.
"More power to Jameis. He is a good kid. If he thinks he can do it, then more power to him," Jackson said.

Winston is running around FSU with a BB gun.

He's a complete idiot.

Yeah but the problem is, I'm saying he shouldn't be the #1 pick because of the off field issues. You think he's not the best QB hence the reason he shouldn't go #1.

Good debate though. I can see why people say he shouldn't go #1.

The only thing that NFL teams should be concerned about is the rape allegation. The autograph signings will not have affect on him just like it won't on Gurley and didn't for Manziel or AJ Green. Every story that comes out about him causes people to judge him more and more. Same with Cam Newton and many others before him. It seems too many people have stopped evaluating what he is actually doing because they've already made up their minds and convinced themselves that he is a tremendous risk. Just look at the Burger King incident. The issue was that he filled up water cups with soda's and we indict his character because of this. When Golden Tate was in college he broke into a donut shop that was closed down and stuffed his faced, but that got swept under the rug and didn't stop Seattle from drafting him. Call him an idiot but the guy loves to play football. It's evident on the field seeing him exploit weaknesses in the defense and understanding where to go with the football. That doesnt happen't with out study and preparation. He may not be for everyone as we are seeing on this message board but when if I'm in a need of a qb I will gladly take him however far teams let him drop. Bottom line is once on the field he is the best player in college football.

Wrong. He did that after being drafted by the Seahawks. Happened in downtown Seattle and he also left money for the doughnuts.

Bottom line, his lack of intelligent decision making off the field lead to huge question marks for any team looking to draft him. You put him against a model citizen like Mariota, I'm taking Mariota 100% of the time.

Shit you're right that was in Seattle. If you want the qb who will help the old lady across the street when not throwing the football, I'll take the guy who can actually play the game at an elite level. If want to compare strictly from an on the field prospective Winston is hands down the better player.

Mariota plays at an elite level man. They are not that much different. Mariota has a cannon, is quicker and more athletic. He's a stud man.

Mariota is too soft to have a long successful career in the NFL

Famous is too dumb to make it.

Do you think Winston is better in the pocket than anyone else right now?

He is very close (but behind) to Bo Wallace in terms of stats.

Ira Kaufmann from the Tampa Tribune said yesterday he talked to 1 NFL executive and that Winston's draft stock is "dropping like a stone"

If it weren't for his off field issues, he is the #1 NFL QB prospect.
