What's the issue with posters respectfully asking Pennywise for his opinion on a play he makes or the reasoning behind the play?
Sometimes things aren't obvious to one person at first glance and so it's beneficial to ask the question. That would be how folk learn, or appreciate new things to look out for when handicapping games themselves.
I think it's pretty obvious that pennywise has a wealth of knowledge of the games he bets on, and it's cool that he takes the time to share the info if asked.
I'm sure if Pennywise found something offensive or out of line, he would say so - or just choose not to respond.
With that said, thanks for the plays and the insight PW. Good luck for this weekend

I seem to not remember who made you forum boss, but anyway, not going to have a petty back and forth with you in PW's thread. Just think you should stop telling people what do do , what they can or can't say, especially when the comment that got your knickers in a twist was purely respectful. By doing what you do, that breeds negativity and bad vibes - think about it.
Anyway, engage, you can go back to looking at and asses now. Enjoy.

Sportsmemo had the Georgia total opening at 45 and Sports Alerts had it opening at 47. Now 56. Cant remember a jump like that without some significant injury or suspension and not aware of any here. That is some serious steam! Wish I'd gotten it at 49 like PW but will just watch now and hope for a score fest that covers even the 56.

If pennywise doesn't want to discuss anything then I'm sure he would say so. The guy you are picking on did nothing wrong and didn't break any forum rules.......

Come on JC, you don't get it, and you're an intelligent person. The guy didn't ask PW a question, he disagreed with the selection. Read it again. This thread is only for PW's picks, and then we go bet. We are all big sports fans and sports bettors, with all kinds of different opinions. The thread would be 30 pages if everyone gave their 2 cents about the games. There are other threads specifically devoted to that.

Honestly I don't think you get it......the guy stated he had a question knocking around in his head as to how one team was going to rack up a certain amount of points. He then said he was going to follow along anyway despite his uncertainty over one aspect of the points scoring, as he could be wrong.
Pennywise was gracious enough to reply to the guy and show him something that could be what was the missing aspect of what was unresolved in his mind.
Like I say, if pennywise or the mods don't want comments or questions (that don't breach forum rules or are unwanted by the OP) in threads, I'm sure they would say.

Thank God, byeeeee. And to everyone else, including you BigRed, I'm just trying to back up PW. It's his selection thread. The guy can handicap.......just let him do his thing, and go bet the plays. There's been alot of "questioning", "Monday morning quarterbacking", and "but what abouts" in here since late August baseball. But I'm done , don't worry. Sorry PW ----- just can't believe the short memory some have.
