This game was a pitching duel....both great pitchers......ump calling a ball or strike at a very important time sometimes is all the difference.....SF hit the ball to win and NYM didn't.......many games left.....playoffs are the most exciting games on the planet IMHO.

Sports gambling is a long term grind. Any of you people who are "busted" or "finished" after last night's game ( one game ) have no business being involved. Worse yet, those of you who bash and criticize PW AFTER the game are cowards ( and A holes ). He'll probably go 7-1 this weekend, and the Mets will seem like a month ago.

+1 for this and for several other recent posts in this thread. Crichton's is another good one in particular.

Absolutely, engage, in no time at all last night will be beyond the rear view mirror. No doubt about it. A LOT of football and mlb playoffs left.

Hopefully, those who are busted/finished will now disappear.

PW - hope you post lowlife PM's. And I hope the mods continue doing a good job cleaning up the riff raff.

pull back out your thesaurus there big boy cause you are all wrong. What I just said has shed zero light at any personal inadequacies or deficiencies. It was not a feeble attempt and only labeled an epic fail by you who it is truthful about. I have a little ge, a very successful one where I treat people daily with respect and know how to treat people. You show no respect here while you think you do people favors. You are right about long-term grind.

So, why would somebody go on tilt to chase losses after such a successful season?

Iphone and typing correctly are not great for grammar nazis, but just fine for sports forum post. I didn't necessarily single just inky out, but like PW said, inky is never shy about highlighting a loss to PW, just pouring salt in the wound of penny.

I don't necessarily disagree with much of what you say and mean, and I'm not Inky's bodyguard, but he's one of the "good guys" in here, and he and PW get along just fine. I've teased him in the past about being a little too "Gladys Kravitz like" at times, but only jokingly, in good fun.

PW is an excellent cappers he didn't tell everyone hey guys bet your mortgage ,car payment or kids tuition on the game. He said he is personally playing 10x his normal play because he likes the game. Those who are complaining has no brains I went with the Giants last night and was nervous simply because PW was on the mets.
