No offense but you are crazy if you think a possible #1 team will be a double digit underdog against a lower ranked team. You could say that you feel the line should be that way, I could understand. But to say that the oddsmakers would put that line up is beyond ridiculous.

OK, you're probably right, no offense taken. I THINK Fla should be laying a TD against Bama at a neutral site. We'll see what they post should those two meet for the SEC title.

I'm not dogging 'Bama at all. I am just sick and tired of people bashing a very good Penn State team when I feel like them and 'Bama have very similar qualifications.

In a perfect world, we'd have an 8-team playoff with some combo of PSU, USC, Florida, Bama, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Okie St, TCU, and a couple shit teams from the ACC and Big East.

Not a fair comparison - tons of good teams would line up to play a home and home with Penn State, but no big time program wants t play a home and home with Boise State, it is just too risky.

Maybe their gay blue field would scare some, but I doubt that. It's more of a money issue. They would make way more with Penn State than Boise.

I am sure Boise would gladly do road/big neutral site with any big time school, but it still isn't going to happen.

Again, Boise WOULD because it would be to their advantage to. How is a big time school going to make any money playing an away game at a 30,000 seat stadium in BFE Idaho?

+ It still doesnt make up for the WAC schedule they stroll through to merit a national championship. But we can have this conversation for years to come, because there are no playoffs to decide it all!

You fault Penn State for not playing anyone but then reward Boise State for not playing anyone?

They played a better schedule than Penn State did. However that has zero to do with this season.

Penn St is owed a national championship, after 1994. They were 10 points better than Nebraska that year and they got screwed.

Florida and USC are the best two teams. But they both lost. Sucks for fans, but all they had to do was take care of business.

All a team can do is beat whomever they play. That's it. If you beat everyone on your schedule, how can you argue that a team that didn't win out had a better season?

Polls are bullshit. Without a playoff, the whole season is nothing more than a beauty pageant.

Another thread filled with clueless drones who think the only way to win football games is by torching the scoreboard.

Penn State is as good as, if not better than anyone in the Big 12
.

A) If you honestly think Boise played a tougher schedule the year they went undefeated than Penn State's schedule this year, then you're smoking something strong.

B) How is it not relevant if you are ready to proclaim Boise National Champs for going undefeated one year, but ragging on Penn State for potentially going undefeated, playing tougher opponents, and potentially winning a BCS championship game, or would you give them their due if they did that?

Illinios and OSU vs.
Ala. beating a shit UGA team
F that shit!
Ala . is the weak team
SEC not that good

quote=hippieki11er;5960644]Is this a joke? Not only is Penn State not "great", but they certainly don't have two "tough" games left. A road game at a down Iowa program whose coach is on the fringe of being fired certainly isn't "tough". And home games against an absolutely pathetic Indiana team and a very, very average Michigan State team who should've lost yesterday at home against a pathetic Wisconsin team isn't "tough" either.

Penn State is barely a top-15 team in any other conference besides the Big-10, which is an absolute joke of a conference.[/quote]
