Let me say a few things. One, I cannot stand baseball guys view on politics but I do agree with his viewpoint here, at least partially. Party poker is not perfectly random. It has to be easy to have a random shuffle and they have not figured out how to do it. That is obvious. There are a lot of things in that book that have validity IMO but the author hasn't quite figured out exactly what the deal is and neither have I. It does always seem strange to me though, that nearly every time I take an extended period away from PP that when I come back I tend to do well. Then after playing a bunch of tourneys after that as I tend to play in bunches, I evenutally start getting many more bad beats than normal and give some back. When it happens a few times it can be coincidental, but when it happens this many times I doubt it. That being said it has still been profitable for me but only since I have managed to get third in the Saturday night special once, netting 26000 roughly. Other than that playing money games or 10 man tourneys i think most are just pissing into the wind personally and i think that is at least partially due to some of the theories described in the book. Name calling and stuff won't get anyone anywhere, nor will acting like you are really making a living on party pokers sight, without hitting a big one. I just cannot buy it. I also do not buy that the author of the book does either. Bottom line, too much fishy business on that sight for me to call it legit even though I have been fortunate enough to show a nice profit.
