Lets not talk about dysfunctional when your entire party doens't even have a leg to stand on. Your leader(s) are on TV and radio, and every attempt you put up at leadership is a total joke.
Your party is reduced to fear and paranoia tatics of post 9/11. All the shouting and protesting your doing is fabricated.
I mean seriously, you people think the President's speech is done to spread a socialist agenda? Now thats funny.
I, and people I actually talk to, don't think the President speech is about anything of substance. Then again, we come from the school of raising our own kids and rejecting victim hood mentality.
What the President's speech is all about is an attempt to score some favorable press (they're lining up I'm sure) and to win some political capital back. You see, he's losing on all the issues.
His stimulus didn't stimulate, and the economy is doing worse than he said it would be doing if we didn't pass his stimulus bill. Considering he said an economic collapse was pending if we didn't pass his bill, that's pretty bad.
He tries to use that get this passed immediately line again with health care, but he doesn't implement his changes until 2013. After being hoodwinked the first time, the American people are a little wiser to this type of nonsense. Despite the fact that people like you think it's the Republicans holding up his agenda, it's not. He can't get his own party to agree on a plan, stone cold fact. If you believe the Town Hall opposition is staged, you're simply naive.
even his disastrous cap and trade legislation is losing momentum, and it doen't look like it's going to get out of the Senate.
The reason why Obama wants to get everything done here and now is because he knows America will never support his far left wing agenda and this stuff simply won't pass in an election year, 2010. far too many people in his own party will be running from him to save their own asses.
and yes, Americans are more concerned then ever about an absolutely exploding deficit. The guy is the most reckless fiscal President in our history.
Sad, but true.
