Just tell me what your problem is with the most influential person in the United States (and possibly World) policies making a speech encouraging the youth of today to study & do well in school. If he inserts partisan agenda, I'll be the first to criticize. But why the issue other than your hatred for him & his policies?

at the end of the day, Obama is implementing an extreme left wing agenda.

He was disingenuous about his stimulus bill and he's disingenuous about it's impact

he's disingenuous about health care reform

he's disingenuous about cap & trade

he authorized the use of taxpayer money to pay for abortions in other counties

he's disingenuous about the deficit and the budget

he's disingenuous about tax policy

he made race baiting comments

he threw police officers throughout the country under the bus with his race baiting comments

he blames everything on somebody else, usually Bush, and accepts no responsibility for anything (funny how he wants to talk about personal responsibility to our kids)

he's disingenuous about bipartisanship, actually going out of his way to write policy with any Republican input whatsoever.

So it is fair to say we're simply not comfortable with him talking to our kids. Plain & simple.

Betit, it's the parents job, and this is an exercise in futility. Talk to the parents about parenting to reduce the dropout rate, especially the inner city parents.

To me, this is just a cheap political stunt by a master of cheap political stunts. It's a diversion from the real issues on his table, health care, energy and the astonishing growth of our deficit. He's using this red herring to try and win political capital to get his aggressive left wing agenda back on track. That's my take.

No one posting in our friendly PoliticoPub honestly perceives President Obama to be a threat to either themselves, to their children or to the community at large.

If they did in fact believe those things, they would be actively engaged in working to get him out of office.

NO SHIT! That was a fact before this fuck hole decided to spend us into bankruptcy. The only thing his stimulus package is increasing is the blood pressure of us that will have to pay for his total lack of common sense when it comes to the economy. Bush was not the best POTUS and the national debt was pushed up on his watch. he got us into some shit we should not be in. ok.

The fact we need to be honest about is that Obama is not acting in a manner that is correcting the situation. He and his henchment are expanding our problems at a rate we can never repair if we let him go unchecked. The new tax rates on those making over $250k a year will not solve the problem. It will be cheaper for me to allow my wife to retire so our income is below this threshold. Many others will see and do the same, thus lowering tax revenue even more than the economy is doing now. In the end, he will be forced to raise taxes on everyone of us. Write it down. It is going to happen.

I am so tired of politicians that have never been in the real world, have never had a real job, or have only worked for the govt. They have no fucking clue what it costs in $ or effort to be successful. They have always been able to look up to "the man" to pay them and take care of them. These politicians hate anyone that has made it because they did not have the backbone or balls to make it in the real world. The new leader of our country is surrounding himself with radicals that have openly shit on our country and its principles. How can anyone back his agenda and policies knowing the personalities behind them?
