Things need to get back on track here, Pat said that Panther has agreed to give $800 for the money lost at APEX. Get that first payment out of the way and go from there, even if it's only $500 a week, get it done and clear your debts with Sea, morally its the right thing to do, and for what its worth, if and when you do pay off the debt.. apologize to Sea off the board either by phone or email, BE A MAN!

Continue to work this out in a mild mannered approach, anything else usually leads to more problems. Take the initial $800 and let him pay the rest off in increments, obviously if he had the money he would probably pay it off all at once, this seems like situation where someone played with money they never had to lose.
I also think you need to call Pat and apologize for that message you left, this guy is trying to help you out and you respond by leaving an ignorant message on his home phone.
Finally I hope this works out in the end, Sea I hope you get paid and Panther hopefully you will pay and put this behind you. If anything this should teach others that already didn't know that you should never get into financial dealings with friends or family, as disaster is only a disagreement away.
