"Bob Mayo on keyboards, Bob Mayo" - Do you feel like we do

Sometime around 1988-1990, my friend was hosting a 'kegger' at his parent's house while they were away. Me and my roommate got there and this band is wailing away in his backyard. I said "who is the band?" My friend says "Bob Mayo and the Killer Tomatoes" I said, "Bob Mayo?? Like, Bob Mayo on the keyboards, Bob Mayo??!" Yep. Apparently, he was living in the area and was friends with my friend's older brother. He had invited Bob to the party and Bob asked if he could bring some friends he'd been jamming with and play. It might have been the only gig Bob Mayo and the Killer Tomatoes ever played.

Sounds like good times. Saw a recent interview with Peter Frampton and he said Mayo had perfect pitch and was a top notch musician. Rip Bob Mayo 2004
