She is really cool, I'm glad to know she is a real person and not stuck-up like many celebrities! Thanks Maxx!

I went to school with, graduated with, and knew and still keep in touch with Kelly Ripa!!

I remember seeing her on Dance Party USA on the USA channel in the late 80's/early 90's.

Maybe a few more that I cant think of right now. Quite a few pro football players that most would not know since they are lineman or defensive backs. About 20-30 pro baseball players that were not impact players in the league
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, Johnson graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School—renamed Memorial High School—where two of his classmates were singer Janis Joplin and actor G. W. Baile

Jackson led Lincoln High School to a state championship in his junior year[SUP][5][/SUP] before transferring to Oak Hill Academy

Charles ran for 2,051 yards and 25 touchdowns while leading Memorial High School of Port Arthur, Texas to the 5A Division II quarterfinals.

Washington graduated from Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas where his father coached football.

This is an interesting thread and something I have thought about in the past. maybe it has to do with location. But there are some random high schools in Texas, California, Florida, and others that basically have professional athletes in the leagues at all times along with senators, radio hosts, etc.. I have googled these high schools before. of course most are huge schools with 4K plus but still. I know huge schools in Indy that really never have had a big name go there, but then there are others like Lawrence North who had 2 lottery players in the same NBA draft.

I went to a high school of about 800 at the time I went there (up to around 1100 now). While I was there, we actually had a running back lead the entire nation in rushing with over 3,250 yards in 13 games. He missed 1 due to injury. But of course he was white, so not much interest. Although the offensive line had a lot to do with that with 3 or 4 guys playing college football I think. But I think only 1 went to a mid major program in the MAC. All others to small D II places.............. 38 power toss. They all knew it was coming but never could stop it...Was all about execution; everyone knew blocking assignments against all fronts. Fun times, it was like tecmo bowl. 78 yard run. 57 yard run. oops, 6 yard run.....I feel like Al Bundy.

But only somewhat notable person besides me to go to my high school is a guy that played football later on after I left and got drafted in the NFL. I think he is out of league now. never was a major contributor. What is crazy is my high school football team is basically "in it" every year and we won 2 state championships while I was there but no high major scholarship offers like to LSU, Alabama, etc. it was a private school that was 99% white.
