If he promises to keep making a sincere effort to spot winning sports bets, the rest of us have agreed to forgive his playing most days with about 49 or less cards in his mental deck.
Must make it easy for him to count cards.

no i meant QL and slim and BFS..........although they all gamble so how smart are they

Some of the smart ones actually win. Some of the rest of us smart ones are smart, we're just slow learners.

Then others of us lose but only lose enough to pay for the entertainment value.

If the moon landing was fake, you would think the Russians would have made a big stink and called us on it..The truth is, they were in direct competetion with the U.S., and they were listening in and knew exactly what we were doing and how we were doing it. When we sent Apollo 8 up to circle the moon for the first time, it completly deflated the Soviet space program..But they came very close to beating us to it..If they hadn't had so many problems with their N1 rocket, we would have probably been talking about the Soviets being the first on the moon instead of the U.S. I don't know why people are making a big deal out of this and calling it fake. Especially considering the technology we have, along with the billions of dollars we spent to get there.

NO tt... but its a farce.... yes I know there is the other side of the coin but this is one of the best articles I have read... http://globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=20070315&articleId=5086

believe what you want to

a quote from the story

The whole theroy of GW is that Co2 causes ozone depletion.
Even if that were true(which its not), over 97% of the Co2 on the OZONE is natural.

So if we got rid of all the Co2 that we create, there would still have 97% of the Co2 thats in the ozone layer.

The natural stuff is what gives the earth it's long term-temperatures/climates. The 3% is what's destroying that balance. Not all Co2 is bad, it's just destroying the balance that causes the problem.

I’ve already calculated the velocity and mass of the gas exiting the LM as it approached the moons surface.
So if someone can give me the equation for determining the ballistic trajectory of a dust particle residing in a vacuum on a surface that has the same gravity of the moon, then I’m pretty sure I can explain why there is no dust on the LM landing pads.
The other question I have is if we haven’t been to the moon why are we assuming that there is dust on the moon?

A few years ago, I would have considered it ridiculous to assume the moon landings were faked, now I have some doubts.

Kennedy ( I think) made the goal of doing it by the end of the decade. Miraculously it was accomplished, just in time !

Wouldn't there be a lot of pressure to do it, after billions were spent on it ?

This also at a time when the US was fighting an unpopular war in Vietnam for no reason. Pulling off the moon landing might serve to take some pressure off of that issue.

I doubt the technology existed at a time when cars barely had seatbelts in them. Even now, the space shuttle often crashes, but going to the moon six times was doable ?

I'd like to see these geezer astronauts take a lie detector test.

If the USSR was so close to doing it, why didn't they ever do it ?

Could a telescope ( Hubble, maybe) see the lunar rover left behind ? Seems to me a super telescope might be able to capture it ?

There would be reasons to fake it, if it was impossible to do. Gov't would look bad wasting all that money for nothing.

I have my doubts about it.

Nixon was President at the time, would he lie ?

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon. Now you will be able to buy a piece of that iconic moment.
The U.S. Mint unveiled a coin Thursday that will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Four years later, it was his turn to go to the moon.
“I am still the youngest to walk on the moon,” said Duke, 83. “I don't know how long that will last, but I hope that's not a record I will have forever.”
Duke hopes that remembering our past and how the U.S. led the space race will help the country look forward to a return to the moon and beyond.
“I think that would set the stage to set confidence to go on to Mars. The spirit of man is exploring and Mars is the next logical step after we return to the moon,” Duke said.
The U.S. Mint is honoring that first trip to the moon with a $5 gold coin, a $1 silver coin, a curved half-dollar coin and a curved, 5-ounce, $1 silver proof coin.

If the Apollo 11 commemorative coin totally sells out, the program could raise $14.5 million for the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's "Destination Moon" exhibit, the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation

You decide.

Air tight!!!

I APOLOGIZE!!! I have changed my mind. After further examining this photo of duct tape and the
gaping hole spaces in the cardboard walls of the flying unit I have come to the correct conclusion that this fly trap did make it to the moon!

Those gaps where you could easily slide in 3 credits to get to the inside..... that was used to slide pancakes into the fly trap. They would stop at IHOP (Intergalactical House Of Pancakes) in space before getting to the moon and their pancake orders would be slid through that open slot..... kind of like feeding quarters into a vending machine. That was their personal "pancake slot" to slide pancakes into.

JUST ADMIRE THE FUCKING CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!

No argument. Pancakes are goddamn delicious. Though I'd go for sausage links over bacon.

Think I have some blueberries left from this week. If so, they are going straight into those pancakes.
