Ed Reed really looked like he deserved the DPOY. Does he even play defense? He just stays 25 yards down the field and catches overthrown passes. Deion Jr.

Steel...show us some love for smacking the Titans in the mouth...after all, they stomped on the terrible towel about 4 weeks ago which I took personal when they did it. Now those bastards are sitting on their ass til September using those same towels to dry their eyes.

You guys are missing a huge point when you talk about Reed having no case for MVP. You admit that tFlacco does not deserve rookie of the year because it's the Baltimore D that dominates. So you admit that without the strong D Baltimore would be nowhere. What you also fail to notice is that most of his interceptions came when the Ravens were holding onto a slim lead and the opponent was driving. He seriously dominated every game the 2nd half of the year. Not one other player on the field in any of those games meant as much to the outcome as Reed. Without his performance, in a Hall of Fame career you MUST admit, Baltimore would not be in the playoffs let alone this close to the Super Bowl. You're right that Flacco does not deserve rookie of the year because he really just has to manage the game, not make mistakes, etc. Sound familiar Trent Dilfer? But he brings a lot of promise in that few rookies bring those traits to the table. But having watched every Raven game, I can tell you first hand that Reed was the most valuable player in getting the Ravens into the playoffs. Is that MVP of the league I won't say. But deserves consideration because of his impact in each game.

Ed Reed has been the most dominant player in this league for 3 years (4 out of 5). Not since possibly Marshall Faulk and Jerry Rice have we seen someone dominate a position like he has.

I saw him chasing Holmes on the 65 yard touchdown. Was he out there for any other plays? I saw Troy P all over the field, including the endzone.
