Just finished watching the second session bouts as I was out for a few hours this afternoon. Egan does not fight tonight, he is the second to last bout tomorrow. We have a little time still. In truth, I was more scared of the other guy than the Chinese he faces. He did not impress me much. I'll have to look at it a little later.

Xheng was a 50-1 shot when it started. He upset European champ Artur Beterbiev of Russia in the second round and Shynaliyev is the only other opponent he beat of note.

I haven't looked at the lines yet but I think Kenny will be in the -300 or -400 range. He's by far the better boxer right now and should win barring monkey business. I'll probably put about 20 or 30 bucks on Zheng but it will be a bet I really hope to lose.

I'll try and update the record in a bit here. I know I still have 5 boxers alive fighting for gold. Considering there are 11 weight classes and I didn't bet on two of them I like those odds.

Matchups went well last night too, basically lost Jeffries (which I'm happy about and hope no one bet unless it was an Egan hedge), lost Vastine (which was the right play, no need to discuss further), and won with Degale (nice doggy), Correa (easy),and Sarsekbayev (which NBC did not give me the pleasure to watch :finger:.

Correa is not that impressive. Even if he wins, I think Degale will be a very live dog in the final.

I'm going to stay up through the Wilder fight then go to bed and watch the rest taped when I wake up.

So far, everything has gone according to plan outside of the Vastine "decision".

Knew the instincts were right on this one. Was hoping for a better price on Degale. He wins 16-14 and I make just a fraction on the bout bet. Should have upped that a little more but was in a hurry to get it in.

Went oh-for-2 today as Boonjumnong lost to Diaz. Will be interesting to see that one as I suspect all the outrage of Boonjumnong holding yesterday may have been held against him. Just saw the scoring but guessing there may have been a few warnings in there.

Ah well, we gotta save it all up for tomorrow and the BIG ONE.

There is zero question in my mind that Lomachenko should win the most outstanding boxer of the tournament. I have a feeling they may give it to the Chinese little guy, but Lomachenko was completely dominant throughout.

It looks like Egan is going to open up between -170 and +200. Probably get Zheng at +150 or higher. Only question is how much/if any to put on Zheng.

Oh..you better Gosh Darn believe I am gonna hedge on Zheng!..If I do not, Egan will lose for sure..

The evil gambling lord got me again this morning..He sprayed pixie dust in my eyes and I slept from the start of the Cuba baseball (damn right they lost just to fuk me) till now...I missed the lines on Emilio Correa so falling asleep cost me a good buck 50..I had Correa 40-400..he goes off as a fav..and of course loses...If I can get my hands on that Egan line..The evil gambling Lord is not gonna know what the fuck to do..Probably be some never seen before controversy and neither guy wins the gold or the Chink will win by judges cheating...

5dimes should have their odds up around 1 (pacific). Greek probably won't til tonight. That is based on the past few days.

Can't find any fucking boxing coverage anywhere today on TV. Gold medal matches and I have no idea when they are going to be shown, if at all. I can watch the goddamn US women's basketball team like 6 times in a row if I want though. Fuck.:finger:

They did end up showing the fights about an hour ago. Didn't even have the courtesy to show the whole heavyweight fight at all, just highlights.

It's more of the same vomit as Papa ridicules the scoring system non-stop.

I swear I will punch him if I ever see him in real life.

May have to hide out from the results tomorrow and try and watch it, if they even show it.

NBC likes Egan. They only show Irish, British, and Cuban boxers in case you haven't noticed.

Lomachenko was absolutely dominant. Best amateur boxer I have seen since RJJ. Of course, they'll give the Val Barker to the Chinese guy over him probably.

Death scenario= Fight is a draw on points...Chink will win on that total points rule..So Chink gets gold...Fight ruled a draw and no contest..chink money refunded and Egan no win..

I have seen it all...5 Dimes should have specified gold medal winner..this could lead to some technicalities ..Or will 5 Dimes rule medal winner as fight winner..I am sure they would like to think about my possibility..I hope it does not get to this..But like I said, I`ve seen it all...Definitely they have excluded the draw line though..But technically fight can be ruled a draw..Or maybe I am just thinking too much..
