Finished watching the taped broadcast on NBC. That is, the few fights they decided to show. I think they only showed 3 of the 6 gold medal bouts. Giant FUCK YOU to NBC. Embarrassing coverage, completely embarrassing.
No conspiracy theory here from the Egan loss. I don't think he fought his best fight tactically and the Chinese boxer was not a good matchup style-wise for him. It was a fairly even bout and perhaps had it been held elsewhere Egan may have gotten the nod. However, it wasn't clear cut and I can't put up too much argument with the scoring or cry foul on it.
