Cops get a report of a car jacking. The description of the car and assailants goes out. Cop sees a car and what looks to be the carjackers nearby. He pulls the occupants out at gun point and puts them in cuffs. It turns out it’s not the car.
In this scenario, these people didn’t do a damn thing but they comply with the orders. Nothing else happens.
This scenario literally happens 100 times daily across America. No different than Garner’s situation.
Guess what? They didn’t commit a crime and he had every right to detain them.

A car can get pulled over by mistake. It happens. But to make requests for anything including an ID and actually provide it is a different thing.
