In a rush, so only going to focus on one facet of the game, namely Howard..
The matchup advantages/disadvantages down low, for the Magic and Celtics, respectively, are too glaring to ignore..Celtics playing with only 1 true center, K. Perkins, and are coming off a series where their bigs saw themselves in constant foul trouble...Philly took the approach of avoiding the double team on Howard, and throwing bodies at him, repeatedly sending him to the FT line, in an effort to exploit his terrible average from the line, and take away some of his easy points, which are the result of uncontested layups and dunks...Philly, however, had the bigs, to play him this way..Boston on the other hand does not...They will be faced with the decision of double teaming him, and freeing up driving lanes, while at the same time giving shooters like Lewis, Turk, and Redick, better looks to the rim, OR, playing Perkins on him, one-on-one, and take the chance of early foul trouble..Celtics, have a depleted front court and lack the bodies to sub into the game should Perkins get into foul trouble..With such a glaring disadvantage, in the post, the Celtics will need to shoot a very good percentage from the field to win games in this series, imo..Something, which may get you a win, for any particular game, but will hardly be enough to rely on, for success in a series..Should this play lose, it will set up a good opportunity to take Magic for the series as an Investment play with what will be a much better number than the one available now, pre-series...Going into the game with this mindset..GL as always...
