Although, I can see the possibility of the Cavs game being somewhat close at some points, I doubt either one of these power houses, lose game 2 at home...Gives me the opportunity to invest some more money on the Bulls/Celtics Over at a better price, and at a better number as it will continue to move, imo..This line is way off..

Action play:

Cavs ML, to Lakers ML, to Bulls/Celtics Over 199.5

2 legs down, waiting on the 3rd...

Will Bulls/Celtics still be moving to an investment play? I'm showing it up to 201 now.

No need tommyjohn, I have it as the last leg of a parlay, which is pending at +136 odds, and also have a straight action play on it...

I'm goona hit the bulls with you tonight. I havn't watched much b-ball of late (to busy with pucks) but the little I did see I kinda noticed that Pierce dosn't look interested in winning. He's being too layed back, but even worst he is not moving into open spots making it way to easy to be garded, almost like he wants to be garded so as not to take the shots. I'm not sure of the status on Rondo but missing Powe is big, he has played well in the past celtic runs. Needless to say no Garnett (the glue to this team)

So after cherring against your city last night I'm gonna see if they can forgive me and make me some coin!!

Love your pick MRN

Speechless, with the performance the Bulls put forward in front of their home fans...Even after a 37 pt 1H performance game stays under by only 6 pts...Tough loss...and a tough day for chicago fans..

any leans on the cavs/pistons?

Imo, it is best to pass on this game all together...Cavs, clearly the better team, but there seems to be a very thin line between their "swagger" and a false sense of "cockiness"..Detroit, on the other hand, back at home, down 0-2, which makes them desperate and dangerous team to bet against..Had the Cavs finished game 2 strong, I think they would've been a solid play..but sometimes all it takes is a glimmer of home, to inspire a team, down 0-2, to muster up the energy to pull off a win, and avoid getting swept...Game 3's tend to be the ideal scenario for underdogs to get a win, against a better opponent..In other words, if the Pistons are to win a game in the series, this would be it..Wouldn't be surprised one way or the other in this game, Cavs win or Pistons win, which is why I think it is best to pass...Gut tells me the Cavs win, and possibly cover, and go on to sweep the series, but not really worth a bet, imo..A very small lean to the Under in the game, but the line is tight imo...GL with whatever you decide :103631605

Technically this will be my first straight Investment play of the Playoffs..My regular season record for Investment plays was 20-6 (77%)...My final season record can be found by going to page 45 of this thread..I will update my playoff record, at the end of the 1st round, but worth noting that everything that could go wrong in a game, has been going wrong for me lately, and has put me in a bit of a cold streak..take that fwiw..GL with your plays tonight :103631605

Good luck Z

Last night was crazy.....

Ya, "crazy" about sums it up Hache, not sure if the Bulls were nervous to play in front of their home crowd or what..what I do know, is that it was a pathetic coaching effort on the Bulls part..pathetic display all around, for that matter..and the result had a lot more to do with the Bulls not showing up, then it did with the Celtics playing great..One of the worst playoff performances I have seen in a long time, by any team...Sad to see a team take a step forward, only to see them take 2 steps going backwards right after..Bad day for the fans of Chicago last night..

Writeup...

Investment play:

Houston Rockets -6

As I said before the series started, alot will be revealed based on the inside matchups between Oden/Pryzbilla and Yao Ming..Ming thus far, is 12/15 from the field, but coming off a game where he wasn't as involved as the team would like him to be, I expect the Rockets to feed it to him early and often, which should free some driving lanes, as well as give some space, for Houston's spot up shooters to get better looks from the outside, and knock down jumpers with a little more ease in the process..Defensively, Portland has plenty of weakness to be exploited, and I think the Rockets, make a few adjustments tonight to break the century mark, which should be enough for the cover..Rockets yesterday, committed themselves to a 2 hour practice and 90 minute film session, with an emphasis on stopping Roy this time around..It took, a near perfect performance from Roy, and a 42 point effort, to squeak out a win before heading to Houston..However, he has the Rocket's attention now, and I doubt he will get the same looks to the rim that he did in game 2, especially when considering how personal Artest takes it when a player scores the ball on him the way that Roy did in game 2...I expect both Battier, and Artest, to step up to the challenge of guarding Roy, and play much better against him this time around..Also, there is something to be said of Portland getting that performance from Roy and Aldridge, and only winning the game by 4 at home..This team needs to play near perfect just to compete against the Rockets, which is a difficult thing to do, for any team, let alone a young team like Portland on the road..Worth noting that Portland also, ended the regular season with a below .500 record on the road..Portland has also historically struggled in Houston, as they have gone 1-10 SU in their last 11 games in Houston..They are also very sub-par ATS when playing Houston with a 2-6 mark in their last 8 games against the Rockets...Rockets, on the other hand, very tough to beat at home, where they went on to win 33 games, and only lost 8 there during the regular season..They also closed off the season on a 5 game winning streak at home, and were a perfect 5-0 ATS in those games...With a veteran team like the Rockets, and a veteran coach like Adelman, you can trust this team will make the necessary adjustments to play better defensively, and, imo, that will be enough for them to roll against the Blazers, as they have had no problems putting up points against a vulnerable Portland defense thus far.. Too many things for Portland to overcome in this game, beginning with the crowd, but not limited to it..Their youth and inexperience, stand as obstacles as well, that coupled with their shaky play on the road, Yao Ming's inside presence, and mismatches on both sides of the ball, have me thinking that Houston rolls in this game by dd, in front of their homecrowd...GL as always :103631605

What I meant, was that I overextended myself with playing one thing, in a number of different ways..The game, was Hawks vs Heat game 2, and I felt as though the Hawks would play very well defensively, and took the Hawks to cover for that reason, and the Miami team total Under, for that same reason, and the under for the game, for yet again the same reason! Not really the case that I put all my eggs in one basket, as much as it was that I overextended myself by playing one thing, namely the Hawks playing well defensively, in a number of different ways, which was a rare mental error on my part..This game with the Rockets is somewhat different, since it is not one thing, that I think gives this bet edge, but a variety of things..We can break down each wager, if you'd like...GL with your plays tonight Shocker :103631605
