They set it up perfectly to get the final 24.. then they shoot with 12.8 left.. not smart at all.

I have to disagree here Spreadproof..I've never been a fan of using the entire clock, in an attempt to tie a game..By shooting early enough into the clock, you give yourself the chance for an offensive rebound if you miss, or at worst, the chance to foul and extend the game..IMO, waiting for the last second shot, is a good strategy only if the game is already tie, and you are going for the win..You have nothing to lose then, at worst it goes to OT..If you are down and looking for the tie, better to get the shot off, and give yourself an insurance blanket, in case you miss..I thought it was a good idea to get that shot off when they did..Too bad it didn't work out for the Bulls on the defensive end, as Allen knocked down a sick shot..Would've been huge to go up 2-0, and steal the 1st 2 games of the series on the road..1-1 is good enough, though...Lovin the Bulls swagger right now! :103631605

I know exactly what you mean Mike, really wish they could of pulled this game out for the 2-0 lead..Would have been sweet..Even in the loss, though, there is alot to be excited about for this Bulls team..To win game 1 in Boston, and compete at the level that they did in game 2, despite what the game meant to Boston, is nothing short of amazing..Many are quick to downplay the Bulls' stellar play, and attribute the fact that they are competing, to Boston's poor play, but give respect where it is due..Bulls may win this series! Something many thought was impossible before it started! :103631605

Yeah tough loss for the Bulls, even though I am a true Pistons fan I live in Chicago and have to have some love for the Bulls too...except if they are playing each other. I went to the Feb 10th game this year when they outscored the Pistons 36-17 in the 4th to win by 4...ouch.

The Bulls were heating up as the season came to a close; they won 12 out of their last 16 games. They are definitely looking to give Boston more than they bargained for. Seems like they needed a month to work through the growing pains and of the trade with the Kings and now they are on track. I'll pulling for them to take out Boston.

GL man, keep killing it.

Was looking to make a play in the 2nd half of Mavericks game, but late flurry of points hurt the cause..A lean with the Under but will pass...

does that mean you liked Dallas to come back...and wish there were more points to spare? Wondering if I should off set my Dallas +7.5 bet for the game.

Tough to say, eBet, this game is more important for Spurs, than for Mavs...Spurs may come out of the gate looking to step on their throats in the 3rd quarter...Line also begging for action on Mavs it seems..GL with whatever you decide :103631605

These lines are way off imo...One, if not both, will be upgraded to Investment plays sometime before Thursday...This game is on 4/23/09 (Thursday)...Want to get a piece of the early lines..Like I said, I feel like these lines are way off....They will move, imo...

Action play:

Chicago Bulls -1.5

I did not want to mention that, just because we are on opposite sides. I've been to calgary and watched games there including last years battle of alberta. The atmosphere and pride there made me and instant fan. So going with them

but if the hawks do take them out, I want to see them in the finals. They too are a very exciting team to watch.
Detroit/Chicago would be a very interesting series

I think Red Wings tonight is value for a small play because if they for some reason give one game tonight can double down on game 4.. They won't let the series slide to 2-2..

Hawks/Wings would indeed be an interesting series..Although, Hawks won the regular season series, I'd be worried to play this team in the postseason..As far as your Flames are concerned, can't argue with a Canadian about the Hockey team he roots for! :103631605 So I'll just wish you luck!

I leave the picks for the experts like Numberz in Bball as football is my sport, but I couldn't agree more with that 199 over. I'm all over it, it's already an investment play for me. BOL and GO Bulls!!

Thing is the Blue Jackets, played very well at home all year, and their home crowd will be buzzin for this one..but I have to agree that on the playoff stage, Detroit has a big edge over this team..Plus Columbus more of a one man show, and simply outmatched by this veteran Red Wings team...I agree, this series ends in 4 maybe 5 games, so you might be on to something there mlm, in terms of a chase...I cashed on the 1st 2 games of the series and so not really interested in betting game 3, since this is the best shot Columbus will have at a victory, imo...GL with whatever you decide to play! :103631605

Yes of the 2 plays, the Over is more likely to be upgraded to an Investment play Mike, but at this point I am strongly considering upgrading both...The total should be closer to 210, and the Bulls should be at least a 4-5 point favorite in this one...Oddsmakers are setting up a situation, where regardless of the outcome in the series, Bulls may be perfect ATS, or close to it, when it's all said and done..Also the Over may cash in just about every game, if they do not adjust the total, to reflect the actual pace that these games are being played at...Oddsmakers showing too much respect to the defending champs, and not enough to the Bulls...This is effecting the sides and totals of the series, thus far..We will see what adjustments they make after game 3, if the Bulls win, and the game goes over...Time will only tell..

P.S. Gotta be honest, Football is my sport as well, with the NBA at a close 2nd...Hope to see you in the NFL forum in the Fall, TraderMike, as we root for Cutler and co. to take down the Division :103631605

Don't be too quick on putting money against Detroit. They will be all business again, and even if they do end up losing I expect them to put up a fight. Looks like a few series have the potential of going seven (rangers, maybe pitts if they lose today) and Detroit's vets know how important it is to be well rested and have time to recover from minor ackes. I believe they will be looking for a quick 4 and out.

If I'm not mistaken, I think mlm, was talking about backing the Red wings, and chasing them into game 4, if they happen to lose tonight..But I agree with you, Crazy, Detroit wins this series in 4 maybe 5 games..
