Not a conclusion, it's a medical fact the gay lifestyle decreases life expectancy. Many studies confirm this. Here are two examples from the CDC:

"In 2012, men who have sex with men (MSM) accounted for 75% of primary and secondary syphilis cases in the United States. MSM often are diagnosed with other STDs, including chlamydia and gonorrhea infections."

In all the years I've been engaging in these forum battles I've probably changed a lot myself. I don't want to lose a debate, or God forbid appear "unhinged" but nor do I want to humiliate another poster any longer. I actually feel rotten when I hit somebody hard enough with words to pain them. I hope the reality is both you and Vit, and everyone in this little community live comfortably and have full lives off this board. I'm a pretty happy guy despite taking hits to my finances in both the market and betting, as well as the health issues that keep smacking me around lately. I wouldn't wish pain on any of ya. I wouldn't answer yes or no but I understand the OP believes by allowing gay marriage, that constitutes an embrace. But the OP calls it 'deviant and disgusting behavior', and that's not an embrace. Now the OP can claim society has mainstreamed homosexuality and say he strongly objects to that. And on that point posters can agree or disagree.

But the OP goes further by claiming that since society is accepting homosexuality other horrible events will follow, like the mainstreaming of pedophilia. Isn't that quite a leap? All one has to do to show that is not likely to happen is to poll the members of society (and for our purposes Society = This Forum) and ask those who are for allowing legal gay marriage if they also do NOT consider pedophilia to be 'deviant and disgusting behavior'.

Well, I certainly view it as disgusting and unaccepable. Now I don't want to see with my own eyes two men of consenting age have sex. Yeah it's gross to me. But I don't believe it's anyone's right to tell those adults who are oriented to behave that way to knock it off either.
