- first match with O'Neill and Keane in charge of Ireland and I expect an incredible effort from home team. Word is the players showed up way earlier than required as they're as fired up as the fanbase is. Even the squad under that horribly boring Trapattoni system routinely spanked bad teams as home...just this year alone 2-0 over Poland, 4-0 over Georgia, 3-0 over Faroe, and 3-1 over Kazahkstan. Latvia haven't won a road game in over 2 years (13 matches) and have only defeated Lithuania and Liechtenstein in past 20 games

“Austrian league in scandal swamp” is the dubiously-translated headline in German newspaper Bild today with the news that an Austrian paper has published photos of a couple of Rapid Vienna hoovering up cocaine through a straw off the the club’s Bundesliga championship trophy.
The photos are alleged to have been taken within the shower rooms at Rapid’s Gerhard Happani Stadium and show a man tooting the white powder from atop the golden shield that the club received for winning the Austrian Bundesliga back in 2008 while a second friend takes a close-up shot of the action.
Rapid are yet to comment, though Bild quote an anonymous club source as saying: “”We believe that it is cocaine, and we think that it was taken in the middle of our stadium.”

Recent home losses include 4-0 vs Bayern Munich's youth club and 3-0 vs 1860's youth club so no reason Nurnberg's youth team with added pros won't win. Prefer just staking straight win vs the -1 HC

- heavy betting on France but I really don't agree with odds. When England played here they were 2.69 and now France is 2.26 in a first leg of a home-and-home? nah. h2h b/w Ukraine and France is pretty brutal for Ukraine but they're tough to break down at home and have allowed exactly ZERO goals in their last 7 games. France did win here in the Euros and have a lot of guys in great form (Ribery, Cabaye for example) but have only recently started scoring after going 5 straight matches without a goal. The o/u of 2 reflects that not many goals expected and I can see Ukraine holding out for a draw or 1-0 win
