I actually do quite well with their plays
Some research and a little luck and I can usually weed out the losers
I passed on this last 4’ star total GOM and it was the right move
If it’s star rated in Power Sweep and a late phone play it’s usually a good play
Money management is important too
As we all should know
Thanks again for posting

Having followed them for all of these years and as I pointed out yesterday, Steele and/or whoever makes the picks

for NC are too predictable and rigid in their thinking believe that line movements are always correct and that

linemaker mistakes don't exist!!

Along the same lines with totals especially, this notion that high-line totals no matter how high they are means that the "Over"

is the play and conversely low-line totals no matter how they always mean the UNDER is the play is just plain dumb and unproductive!!

NC went 1-2 yesterday ensuring that no matter what the 2-unit play is tonight, it will be a losing week for Steele/NC

with no follow-through with the great week they had last week!!

A few notes are in order before the Week 9 and cumulative recaps:

First of all we learned today that NC won their 2 star last night on OVER Buffalo but lost their Marquee on the Chargers.

Also, in somewhat of a surprise there are TWO GOM going this week, the College GOM as well as the NFL GOM.

I am actually surprised that they didn't have one last weekend as this coming weekend is the last weekend of the month!!

That said, I will be curious if they try to make up for any "lost revenue" by having in two this weekend by jacing the price of service through

roof-we will have to wait and see.

Anyway, here we go to the recaps.

Not surprisingly they couldn't follow up with last weekend's great week but instead lost although it was a small amount, which is actually

good for them!! lol

Here you go:

Week 9

College Sides 4-2

College Totals 2-2

The overall record is college sides 22-22 and totals 13-19.

The NFL picks go 2-2 and for the season are 16-16.

The cost of service for a non-newsletter subscriber is $2613.

A player who has bet these games at $100 a unit according to ratings with the cost of service factored in is now MINUS $ 5579!!

If I had to guess and knowing the way Steele/NC thinks, I think there is a good possibility that tonight's play will be OVER Jacksonville St

63 1/2 as they go orgasmic when they see a high total and ALWAYS play the OVER and NEVER the UNDER!!

Pending verification, I have Steele/NC winning 5* GOM today on Indiana but overall going 3-4 in sides and losing 3.4 units

Totals go 2-2 and lose .7 units

Overall for the day, they go 5-6 and lose 4.1 units plus cost of service.

Overall it was pretty much a replay of last week when they started off like a house of first early and then tanked late.

Their big problem as I see it is that they do well with their GOM plays, but suck with the supporting case of plays other than a couple of

weeks ago in their Twilight Zone Week picks went the colleges went 8-2.

The fact of the matter is that based on many years of following them, Steele/NC simply are not capable of putting out 10-11

Late Phone picks in a given week because their methodology is flawed and based on too many biases on the part of Steele and/or whoever

makes the picks of the criteron used as to what counts and what does not as well as assuming that the lines set are always correct

and that linemaker mistakes are practically non-existent!!

Back in the morning.

ps If anyone wants to check my math. fel free to do so because I can and do mistakes like any other human being!

They just confirmed what I posted here.

In addition Todd the comp. guy is in excuse/rationalization/we were on the right side mode by whining about the three late

college side losers that lost late in the game to try to convince us it SHOULD have been a winning day!!

What I said above stands!!

GOM as well as other plays fizzle(sorry close losses don't count).

For the weekend so far Steele/NC is down counting the cost of service more than 17 units or over $1700 for a $100 player

playing to scale!!

I just sent this to Phil Steele/NC:

"For the first time in history you spent the ENTIRE tapes on BOTH ext. 3 and 9 telling everyone the price of the weekly

publications has gone up by $10 starting today for NEXT SEASON!!

And then you THREATEN them that price will go up even higher the closer we get to the season!!

Seriously, do you live in a world so devoid of reality that you believe people are going to stop everything they are

doing to save a lousy fucking $10 for NEXT season!!

It is no wonder that you lose week after week, month after month, year after year with your demented mentality and imagination!!"
