Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) - Apr 19, 2014 3:30 PM EDT
Play: Point Spread: -7.0/-110 Los Angeles Clippers Pick Title: Bonus Play
Golden State is sound on both ends of the floor but they are a different team away from home. They rely too much on outside shooting while the Clippers score inside and out. They have to deal with Chris Paul and his dual threat ability to create in this game which will be a difficult for the Warriors to control. LA Clippers come in with unstoppable scoring going on for them, easily scoring big points, mainly with Blake Griffin dropping 24 a night. The Clippers are so efficient, that with a few badly timed mistakes, especially with Chris Paul, pilfering balls they can blow you off the court, and I see the Clippers winning by double digits in game 1.

Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers (MLB) - Apr 22, 2014 7:08 PM EDT
Play: Money Line: 131 Chicago White Sox Pick Title: Jim Feist's FREE MLB pick - Tuesday
04/22 7:05 PM EST MLB (915) CHICAGO WHITE SOX VS (916) DETROIT TIGERS Take: (915) CHICAGO WHITE SOX Reason: Your free pick for Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014, comes in baseball as Chicago White Sox and the Tigers meet in Detroit at Comerica Park. The Chicago White Sox have a much improved offense, 4th in baseball in runs scored, 8th in batting average and on base percentage, plus Top 12 in slugging. Just ask Texas, a team they just played on the road and pounded out 18 hits and 16 runs. Ace Chris Sale (3-0, 2.30 ERA) goes here. In his lone road start he shut out Kansas City for 8 innings with 1 walk, 6 strikeouts. The White Sox are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. American League Central. Detroit hasn't hit yet, 26th in runs scored, starting April with a brutal road trip out West. Justin Verlander's got a very nice-looking 2.08 ERA this year despite having given up an unpleasant total of 35 baserunners in 26 innings -- a 1.35 WHIP. The Tigers are 5-12 in Verlander's last 17 starts, plus 3-8 in his last 11 starts with 4 days of rest. Play the White Sox.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) - May 1, 2014 3:00 PM EDT
Play: Point Spread: 3.0/-115 Memphis Grizzlies Pick Title: Chase's 10* NBA Diamond Play
Big time matchup between the 2-3 Thunder at the 3-2 Grizzlies the Grizz can close out the Thunder tonight and I belive they will be playing there hearts out tonight as this is there best shot to win the series. 56% of public money are backing the road Thunder and this line will probably dip lower closer to game time. I belive a play on the Money line is not a bad investment. Memphis will be rocking tonight but I think the best play will be on the Grizzlies plus the points for a 10* winner. San Francisco Giants vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB) - May 6, 2014 7:05 PM EDT
Play: Money Line: -112 San Francisco Giants
Tuesday MLB Bonus Play from Doc’s Sports Take #903 San Francisco Giants over Pittsburgh Pirates (Tuesday, 7:05pm EST) The San Francisco Giants are off to a great start to the 2014 season at 20-11 and there’s every reason to believe that they can continue this run. The Giants have been hitting the ball with authority. They are second in the NL in home runs and fifth in total runs scored. That’s impressive considering half of their games are in AT&T Park. There are no easy outs in the Giants lineup and even their pitchers can hit a little. That includes today’s starter Tim Hudson. Since coming to San Francisco, Hudson has been nothing short of wonderful. He enters Tuesday’s game 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA and 0.74 WHIP to go along with an eye-popping 31-2 K/BB ratio. Clearly he enjoys pitching on the West Coast. The Giants bullpen has also been amazing with a 1.86 ERA and several reliable arms to call on. I think we can count on Hudson to go seven innings and turn it over to a couple of relievers to shut it down. The Pirates are off to a slow start at 12-19 and injuries have played a part. Catcher Russell Martin is currently on the disabled list and he is one of the leaders on this team offensively and defensively. They’re also without closer Jason Grilli, who was as close to automatic as you could get last season. I think this Pirates team will eventually get back on track because they have too much talent not to. However, they’re going to need to be 100% healthy and get some better production from the starting rotation. Charlie Morton has really struggled in the first month and he doesn’t quite look right on the mound. I expect the Giants to continue their hot-hitting ways against Morton and earn the win in this one. Monster card coming on Tuesday with MLB, NHL, and NBA action. Jump on board now and let 42 years of handicapping experience work for you.

Chicago Cubs vs. St Louis Cardinals (MLB) - May 15, 2014 1:45 PM EDT
Play: Money Line: 135 Chicago Cubs Pick Title: 5* FREE MLB Play
Chicago Cubs +135 It is a crime that Jeff Samardzija does not have a win yet this season. His peripherals are outstanding and I think he is due to get that first one on Thursday against St. Louis - the one team the Cubs have beaten in a game he started all season long. If that is going to happen they are going to have to get into Lance Lynn but he may be the weak link on a very strong staff. The Cubs will actually have to score some runs though. Three times when Samardzija has started they have been shutout. 5* FREE MLB Play 58-49-8 MLB Picks Run, MLB Picks (+3667) 364-294 L658 55%. NBA Totals (+1141) 47-33 L80 59%. Cincinnati Reds vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB) - May 29, 2014 9:40 PM EDT
Play: Total: 9.0/105 Over
Thursday MLB Bonus Play from Doc’s Sports Take Cincinnati Reds/Arizona Diamondbacks OVER (Thursday, 9:40pm EST) We shouldn’t have any shortage of runs on Thursday night in Phoenix as the Diamondbacks host the Cincinnati Reds. The temperature is heating up in the state of Arizona and the runs should follow. We have two struggling hurlers on the mound for this one, so both offenses should get some good hacks in at the plate. Josh Collmenter takes the hill for the D-Backs and he’s been shaky since entering the rotation about six weeks ago. As a reliever Collmenter was somewhat effective with a 2.25 ERA in limited work. But since becoming a starter, Collmenter has posted a 4.20 ERA with a mediocre 28-10 K/BB ratio in 45 innings. He pitches to contact and that can get him in trouble in Chase Field where balls can easily fly over the fence. Tony Cingrani goes for the Reds. The left-hander hasn’t looked sharp of late, as he’s surrendered at least three earned runs in each of his last three starts. He’s walking more batters than ever and the league is starting to adjust to his deceptive motion. Neither offense is having a banner year, but both have more than enough capable hitters to take advantage of the shortcomings of these hurlers. We’ll go to the Over in this one.

St Louis Cardinals vs. Kansas City Royals (MLB) - Jun 5, 2014 8:10 PM EDT
Play: Money Line: -116 St Louis Cardinals
Thursday MLB Bonus Play from Doc’s Sports Take #919 St. Louis Cardinals over Kansas City Royals (Thursday, 8:10pm EST) The St. Louis Cardinals aren’t off to the kind of start that everyone was expecting, but this is still an excellent baseball team. We’re about 60 games into the season and it’s important to not put too much stock into the win/loss records at this point. We all know the Cardinals were good enough to get to the World Series last year and this year’s edition is probably a little better on paper. Michael Wacha is quickly establishing himself as the future ace of the staff. He turned plenty of heads during this rookie campaign and it’s continued on into 2014. Wacha is 4-3 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.06 WHIP despite the league seeing him for a second time this year. He’ll face a terrible Kansas City lineup that has struggled to score runs for the majority of the season. This isn’t a patient team at the plate and they’re going to have to make some big changes offensively if they want to compete for a playoff spot. Youngster Yordano Ventura takes the hill for the Royals and he’s dazzled so far in his rookie season. However, he had a pretty big injury scare and was skipped in the rotation last time around. The team insists that he is alright, but they will be extra careful with him and I’d be surprised if he throws more than 90 pitches in this one. That’s an advantage for the Cardinal and I think they get the job done today with Wacha on the mound. Play St. Louis at the short price as they look to get things going. The Belmont Stakes is just days away and Doc's Sports has you covered with an All-Access Pass you cannot afford to miss.
