A sicko goes into a church (school / theater) and murders a bunch of people.

He then says, or is rumored to have said, "I did it because I was angry about xyz," or "I did it because I hoped x would happen after I did it."

And then an idiot in a forum uses the words of this demented lunatic who just committed mass murder to make a point in a flame war.

Normal people don't pick up a rifle and shoot women on their campus, or people in church, or make pressure cooker bombs to blow up marathon spectators. So when psycopaths execute these acts what these sickos say in their post-game interviews should not be talking points for normal people (SMH).

Anyone who has not or cannot connect the dots between Ayres and Obama does not get it and never will. The tragedy in SC falls on an individual who was not playing with a full deck that is for sure. He is psychotic. What he did was done on an individualist level. The people and the leadership in SC puts Baltimore to shame. Things like this should bring people together. A true community organizer would try to do that but not the community organizer in chief Obama. Guns, race, on and on, it is him who fans the fires at every opportunity going back to his old college professor. I never heard him say this killer could have been his son. It is all there for all to see. Another political football just looking for a field of play. Since Obama took office everything is political and that is a big part of the problem. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims. They are the ones who will have to cope with this for the rest of their lives.

So Dylann Roof's manifesto has allegedly surfaced. It's fairly short.

Some points he makes are valid. Others are completely illogical and off base. Bottom line, though: he deserves to be hung publicly for this atrocity.

I'm still not entirely convinced he was working alone here. Really wonder if some other assholes convinced him to do their dirty work.

SURVIVOR OF 1993 CHURCH MASSACRE: ‘BY GOD’S GRACE I MANAGED TO RETURN FIRE’

The only person who can stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun. Unarmed victims are pretty helpless.

Firearms surely make it easier to kill people, but firearms also make it easier for people to defend themselves. Removing all firearms from society risks leaving potential victims defenseless.

This was as predictable as everything else Casper posts here. I called it almost immediately after this tragedy, when the idiots were somehow making Obama's response THE story, not the tragedy itself. I'm sure it's out there on the other extreme righty Blogs besides this one.

Really?? Would love to hear what "valid points" this sick, white supremest, racist, Jew hating POS made in your eyes. And what makes you think he wasn't working alone? There are undoubtedly many, many sick people that share similar thoughts, but there's nothing in there that indicates anyone but this monster planned and carried this atrocity out.

It's amazing. No "gun control nut" or other person that wishes the US had sane gun policies has said the Secret Service shoudn't have guns, or law enforcement shouldn't have guns. But when tragedies like this occur, the gun crazies will make all kinds of ridiculous comparisons and false equivalencies, in their quest to protect the precious gun. Next we'll hear this was a false flag operation, so Obama can come get everyone's guns.

I already commented on what Aki said. When/if he comes back, he can address whether it was a lie or not.

Hysterical.

The idiot who runs around here screeching at people for "lying" will allow the fat Alaskan to determine "if" it was a lie or not.

And remember, BAS commenting on something that happened 27 days after the post is absolute, undisputed fact. However, BAS pointing out that the fat Alaskan lied about anyone masking their IP address, creates a scenario where the poster himself gets to "address whether it was a lie or not"

What a lying scumbag guesser is.

Lying Scum. WE heard you endlessly screech(and still do, laughably) that "You saw" Vit Post in Poly. BAS came in and stated unequivocally he didn't. We heard BOTH sides of the story, and everybody Knew who was lying. As usual, YOU. On this, we have what BAS told Aki, but we haven't heard if Aki might have misunderstood him, or twisted his words. So no, until/unless we hear the other side, what Aki heard, or thought he heard, I'm not ready to say Aki 100% lied. When/if he gives his side of the story, I'll be prepared to say more than I already have, but in the meantime, we all look forward to your hundreds of posts on the subject, to deflect the FACT that you are a continuous, PROVEN liar.

Laugh out loud funny. BAS "proved" I'm a "liar" especially when I said it is possible the thread was in 2 places at once, something he never commented on.

"Misunderstood"

a mod did say you were masking IP. That isn't even a question.

and:

oh it was confirmed. No doubt you're disguising....that isn't even a question. Just isn't for me to say where the info came from....but it is someone who would know. Time to come clean ghost.

Answered with:

Since you brought this to the table.... as I told your Buddy... the IP's are all real and they are not even close to each other. The ISP's are all legit.
Meaning they are not from some weird company that hosts internet.

he said he Really believes they are one in the same because a few times they write some of the same things.

proof aktard lied:

so you didn't say they appear to be masking their IP's?

Finally:

you mean your buddy ? Yes Told him more than once.
But he kept telling Me he knows he's Right.

You just go and hang your hat on "misunderstood" liar. It isn't possible someone "misunderstood" that they were told 4 times nobody is the same poster or are masking their IP address.

As I said, you will never, ever acknowledge that the fat Alaskan lied. Neither will vittard, neither will wabitch. You have been pointed out his lies before and simply will never type "he lied" You aren't capable.

The Charleston church that was the site of a massacre on Wednesday held its first service since the horrific incident today.
Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church opened its doors for their weekly 9:30am service as thousands poured out to support the church, most filling the outside parking lot and street as they could not even get into the building.
Just four days ago, nine members of the congregation were shot dead in a racially motivated hate crime at the hands of 21-year-old Dylann Roof.
Services began with the organist playing Amazing Grace followed by What a Friend We Have in Jesus as worshipers filed into the church.
After that, Reverend Norvel Goff, the presiding elder at the church, began his sermon by telling the congregation; 'The devil entered and the devil tried to take charge. But the devil cannot take control of your people, and the devil cannot take control of your church.'
The church's bell also tolled nine times in memory of each of the victims.

On Wednesday, Roof sat among a Bible study group and opened fire after saying that he targeted them because they were black, authorities said.
In addition to Rev. Pinckney, who was also a state senator, the victims also included; DePayne Middleton-Doctor, Tywanza Sanders, Myrah Thompson, Ethel Lance, Susie Jackson, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, Daniel Simmons and Cynthia Hurd.
Events to show solidarity are planned throughout the city and beyond, including the synchronized ringing of church bells at 10am.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and her family attended the service at Emanuel, as did Senator Tim Scott and Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr.

Did you actually read what he wrote? Or are you just joining the pitch fork mob because it's easier to get updates from Daily Kos? If the most evil person who ever lived says the sky is blue, the fact that they're evil doesn't automatically make them wrong.

Roof makes a valid point that the media's coverage of the Trayvon Martin trial was confusing since it was just one of many murders that happen in this country, and the same media completely ignores similar black on white crime/murder.

He also makes a valid point that far too many blacks have been conditioned to look at every aspect of their lives through a racial lens, which is why everyone gets easily offended and labels any negative comment as "racism." If you need examples, either take a look at the archives of the artist formerly known as Fat Paul...or even our current dimocrap administration which actually claims words like "golf" and "Chicago" are racist.

He also goes on to make many invalid points. Here's the problem, though: falling in line with the "he is x, so therefore y must be true" mob mentality without thinking for yourself is exactly the same thought process Roof had when he carried out these attacks. "All blacks are bad, so I need to kill them"is the same as saying "the Tea Party is filled with angry white racists." Neither conclusion is true.

Try turning off Raw is War reruns for five minutes and formulating your own opinion for once.

It's Sunday. My prayer goes to those killed in Charleston. Those were good people who were sacrificed at the altar of Divisiveness.

We need a healer to emerge to lead this nation. He / she needs to focus on common goals and values.

Who is capable of that?

Nobody is comparing any frequency of anything. So I'm not real clear on what your point is supposed to be.

You posted about Norway and the one particular mass shooting in Norway. I'm comparing the frequency. I don't see what happened once in Norway can be compared to mass shootings in the U.S. It happened once in Norway and seems to happen multiple times per year in the states. Obviously population has something to do with that but Norway and that shooting in particular has nothing to do with mass shootings in the U.S.

The kid is a sicko. Punishment should be to strap a sign to him he killed all the nigg**s and turn him loose on the south side of Chicago around midnight. As a nation we are going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on him. Make him feel some pain. Disgusting pos.

BY KYLE BECKER (3 DAYS AGO) | WORLD

obama_head_scratching.0_cinema_1200.0-770x330.jpg

Getty - Saul Loeb

After the tragic Charleston shooting that left 9 Americans dead, President Obamasaid the following:

But let’s be clear: At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.

But is that true?
Since most statistics on mass shootings in the world compare apples and oranges by not correcting for population, let’s get a chart that makes sense, shall we?

.

Screenshot-6_18_2015-9_43_12-PM.jpg

Boom, here we go: The Rampage Shooting Index. Taken from a now-defunct website, it assembled data from around the world to construct a per capita mass shootings index that controls for population differences.

And since we’re just talking about members of the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), we can assume these 34 countries are sufficiently “advanced” to enter into the discussion.

The bottom line: The United States falls from number one due to its frequency of 38 mass shootings from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2013 (which would be number one without correcting for population) to number seven.

Security Magazine commented on the data findings:

Between January 1, 2009, and December 31, 2013,there were 413 fatalities from mass shootings in the 34 member states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). From the five-year period of 2008-2012, there were 373 total spree shooting fatalities.
According to the OECD’s latest version of the Rampage Shooting Index, a pair of deadly shootings in Switzerland in early 2013 pushed the U.S. out of the top five OECD nations for the most per capita fatalities, but the U.S. continues to have the most rampage shooting deaths (one reason could be its size – The U.S. population accounts for 25 percent of the OECD total). However, the U.S. saw a drop in mass shooting deaths from 93 in 2012 to 68 in 2013.

The U.S.’ index of 0.12 per 5,000,000 places it behind Norway (recall the Anders Breivik massacre), Finland, Slovakia, Israel, and Switzerland – at half the ratio.
Another thing one might note: The top 5 countries for mass shootings per capita all have “restrictive” gun policies.
