shoe rule took the big L this weeek. Late interception cost me a back door cover; but hopefully won you guys some money.

0-1 ... no plays yet this week - pending what i get the dallas/gb line at.

Does the shoe rule apply to the opening line or the closing line? And in either case can a line move "into" or "out of" a shoe rule qualification based on the line movement?

In either case, even if the shoe rule went 0~1, it certainly confirmed what I had already suspected: that the DET / GB game would be a crazy game full of stress to anyone on either side of the line. What a crazy game!!

Lastly, did you see my original comment (earlier on page 1 or page 2 of this thread) where I was wondering if the new "just like grass" arrtificial turfs still apply to the shoe rule? My thinking was that there may be some cases where the actual shoes are not being changed from outdoor grass to synthetic indoor grass and the overall number of "true turf" stadiums are on the decrease. Food for thought anyway.
