Books have been written on this subject and there are whistleblowers aplenty.

:an_laugh: "No evidence!" ?

Lots of money in the NFL, to be sure, but none of that cake filters down to the zebras and special team players who may spend a few years on the roster at the league minimum, tops.

Which seems to be where all the goofiness takes place these days. Horrific calls; surreal special team plays (schoolboy-level missed tackles); horribly-timed penalties in the minimum wage trenches, and well...you get the idea.

Now I'm not saying JoeyB with his new flashy 220m anchor is on the take (although he's playing like it)..

You'll notice the NFL has tried to curtail some of these shenanigans under the guise of "player safety" but we know that's bullshit.

If you have any experience handicapping and watching the NFL over the years, surely you must have noticed how utterly unpredictable so-called "big games" tend to be, especially in the dying minutes. Al Michaels being the King Daddy playcaller of the most unbelievable outcomes in NFL history...aka MNF.

:an_laugh:"But, but, but...so many people couldn't possibly be in on it!" - typical low-IQ canned response to EVERY conspiracy ?

But even if "conspiracies" (aka unpleasant truths) are a bridge too far for your flabbergasting ignorance, surely you must know the more money wagered into a line, the more information being fed into it and therefore - drumroll! - the more SHARP and efficient the line will be.

In other words, you're not going to beat -110 long term betting those BIG volume nationally televised games. You're just not.

Why do you suppose cruderube only sticks to obscure low-limit tennis props while books like Pinny and Bookmaker are openly inviting 6 figures+++ on NFL games?

Speaking of -110, since when do books make their profits on the vig anyway? More ignorance from the crayon scribblers - REAL books GAMBLE selectively (sharp and square) by taking POSITIONS suckering in the suckers to the wrong side.

Limits across the board tell you everything there is to know.

Just as Human Nature 101 also tells us everything there is to know about...well, life. Anything that matters in life (money, power) is RIGGED!

Some of the worst arguments come from the notion that something like the immaculate reception is scripted. Crazy shit does happen Maybe they ignore a false start, Big sack? Well he was too close to the head/neck region. Holding. Doesn't take a lot and maybe incredible play happens. But to accuse guys of believing every bounce was in the plan is as ridiculous as looking the other way altogether.

No. Not you lol. You know something isn't right . That's pretty clear. But they want that evidence for your opinion.

Hedake Smith.

Want more players ?

many many many more

and somebody from the NFL since that's what we're talking about

If we're talking about multiple football games per week being fixed (sorry, I can't keep up with who said what), then I'm going to suggest we need some football players and not a college basketball player from 30 years ago. That simply doesn't prove some fixing epidemic

Sean McVay.

There ya go

thanks for proving my point, not yours

because that's a big nothing

PS: You pay people not to cover, so that media driven story is rather silly

Imagine paying people to cover? What if the other team doesn't cooperate?

Just a simple community college class might help you in this "argument"

Over the next decade, the NFL is guaranteed $125.5 billion or almost 4 billion per team in TV money.
327 Million per team in media rights and NFL branded merchandising .
Locally teams generate $ through partnerships, ticket sales and concessions

2022 the annual average operating cost per team was around 126 million.

NFL is a green chee$e making machine for owners..Not to mention the hundreds of business connected to the NFL indirectly.
so, what is your point? if it wasnt for gambling they wouldnt get the big contracts.

Wainwright calls it quits. Gets that magic number and and calls it the performance of his life.. forever tarnished in my eyes. View attachment 75551View attachment 75552

Wainwright cannot throw, bad shoulder, he was dinged all year, he wanted to pitch another game but cannot even throw a baseball 60 feet as of yesterday. I saw the video of him explaning this.

He is a high class individual.
