There are a lot of good arguments to be made for Baltimore

But it seems like every intangible favoring the Chiefs here. Chiefs have been disrespected this season and are sort of playing with house money -- no pressure on the road, underdog. That seems like a dangerous proposition. All the pressure on the Ravens

Will it make a difference? Tough to say

I always felt the "no pressure" thing is completely fabricated. Everyone feels pressure because everyone wants to win and feels disappointment when losing.
Chiefs have the intangible that they expect to win every play-off game they play---That confidence is real and definitely should be considering when laying a bet on this game. Chiefs down 10-0 means less than Ravens down 10-0.

edit: i don't think Chiefs have been disrespected. I think they would even tell you they don't have the same talent as past years....

That was my long winded way to say----Confidence is the intangible the Chiefs hold over Ravens. We have won we are still winning and we expect to keeping winning no matter the score.

Yep I guess the question is if that'll matter here

We'll see

I predict a close game, which is not exactly a hot take

Ravens(like Bills before) have a lot of problems if they lose this game.

Mahomes has had a down season(by his standards) and if he still gets to the SB and especially past an Allen and Lamar in their own parks---well, o my.

Cruderube is right (ugh, I said it!), the "Mahomes mystic" is the only thing keeping this line respectable.

Championship pedigree - Chiefs may be overmatched, but they know how to get it done.

The only question is, to what degree? How heavily should this factor be weighed?

I think Ravens winning the 1H and Chiefs the game is a good bet as that cashed for the Chiefs vs Buffalo at 7:1. Chiefs figure out how to defend the Balt run in the 2H and make Lamar a passer while Mahomes gets the job done. I don't mind a game with Jackson throwing 30+ passes at all. (since I am on the Chiefs plus the points) That 3.5 will be handy with Tucker on the other side.

The Bills were outmanned and had almost no defense left. The Ravens are at home and can make enough plays with that offense, D is much better, and a kicker who will hit from anywhere.

I think the surprise game, if there is one, is Detroit going to the Super Bowl. If Deebo ain't there, don't sleep.

Wasn't the case against Buffalo

Well-officiated game with both teams getting a major break
It was, but you do recall when Golden Boy 2.0 was stopped on third down, out comes the flag! Thankfully it didn't affect the outcome of the game! Contact was made before he released the ball, then the BS "still engaged"!!! The defender didn't grab or extent his arms, just horseshit. If this is the letter of the law, then every QB should immediately release the ball every time their receiver is bumped within five yards! Flags will be flying, but only for the Golden Boy!

It was very close, could've gone either way. I agree bad optics for the flag to come out late

But

The Bills also got away with a forward lateral in the first series of the game that would have ended their opening drive, and not let them score 3 points

That was the biggest break of the game either way

Otherwise refs did a good job of staying out of both teams' ways

The only reason they stayed out of the way is the MIRCALE of the Bills D stopping KC's offense after given that first down. Anyhow I agree they did not get involved, but the point is, and not just looking at this one drive, one game, but the entire resume of Mahomes, every time the game is close, deep in playoffs, except against the original Golden Boy, Golden Boy 2.0 gets all the calls. That call was just an example of one of many!

KC offense has not been very good all season. Don’t be fooled into thinking they fixed their issues suddenly when both Miami and Buffalo have fielded a mash units on defense these past 2 games. Mahomes will Mahomes and will carry the unit but that Baltimore defense is another animal. Not sure how many points KC can put up.

I could see 49ers bouncing back this week got -6 115 at my local.

No feel for the other game...took the over rushing on Lamar early.

Good luck man
Like it. Good luck to you as well
