On following LYs Playbook contest top 20, (they had a real good week in college 17-6 on 1 & 2 stars combined). I went back and checked records of them. I had 16 wks from '18, 18 wks from '17, 15 wks from '16. I didn't find any difference much at all in 1* & 2* picks. in fact, a lot of cases 1*s were much better. below are the cappers name,

I didn't have access to the individual plays for all 50 handicappers. Only their totals. According to Lawrence, they cannot pick college totals until the bowl games.
The thing I was trying to do is give people who might follow these plays, a look at how these guys have done over more than just last season. Picking for 3 seasons and going 55-57% over 100 games is from what I have seen about as good as your gonna' get. Muzyck, who was something like 21-4 or something like it, went 17-19 the year before and 15-15 2 years ago. He is likely to head in that direction again. As is Dietz, who has had 2 outstanding years, back to back, but, was 11-18 before that.
a guy who hit 67 or 70 pct LY is much more likely to return toward .500. I believe if you are gonna' follow guys like this, this group would be more profitable than just following LYs top 20.

There were also some pretty good fades as well. JB Sports 38-57 L3 Years, Merrill 35-61 L3 Years, Gainous 28-37 L2Y & T Scot 42-55 L3Y

Stormin' Norman 3-0, 54-42, 56.3% … He went 2-0 wk1 on 2 college plays...I just overlooked him. he was a contest darling 2 years ago going 21-14.
Vegas Synergy 2-0, 39-29, 57.3% ,,, He won with Bills, Lost with Tx St in wk1. I left him out because he only has 2 years to look at.

also, didn't find 2* plays any better than 1* plays.
