Winning Points updates for Saturday

***BEST BET
Kentucky over Louisville* by 35

It’s time for some revenge as Kentucky travels to face its
in-state rival that has seen better days. Big Blue lost last
year’s game by 24 points when Louisville had now Baltimore
Raven QB Lamar Jackson. Losing a player like Jackson would
be enough of a handicap on the follow-up, but it seems that
this team lost its ability to play defense of any kind. They
have allowed 43 points per game on the season. The unit's
work lately has been particularly awful. By virtue of 333
rushing yards per game allowed, they have allowed an
incredible 183 points in their last three contests. Kentucky
excels with the ground game at 192 ypg on 4.7 ypc. They
have played well when having motivation this year and a
chance to bury an in-state rival is good enough here. This
is also a step down in competition from their usual SEC
foes. The Cardinals’ only cover this year was a four-point
loss to FSU when they were getting five points. It’s hard
to see another one coming here. KENTUCKY 48-13

**PREFERRED TOTAL
UNDER 43
Colorado at California

With six straight losses, Colorado said goodbye to head
coach Mike MacIntyre one game early, in a season that has
gone off the rails. With injuries to star WR Leiviska
Chenault and now banged-up QB Steven Montez, this offense
is just not in a good place. They have scored a single
touchdown in each of their last two games. Cal’s defense
is playing outstanding right now and is coming off of an
unexpected week of rest. In their previous three games
they had allowed 40 points total on 313.3 ypg. Fortunately,
for Colorado, the Bears offense hasn’t been stellar at
13.3 ppg in those three games. Colorado’s defense is
nothing to write home about, but this Cal offense is a
good opponent for them right now. CALIFORNIA 21-13.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL REVENGE SELECTIONS

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 24

7:00 pm
***BEST BET
CALIFORNIA (-12.5)

vs. Colorado
2017 — L, 28-44

PAST
Cal was coming off a double-overtime home loss to Arizona, traveling to Boulder, CO to play at high altitude. They trailed 27-7 at the half, so the game was basically over then. Colorado QB Steven Montez had been benched by the coaching staff one week earlier, and returned highly motivated, throwing for 347 yards and 3 TDs. Another emotional boost for Colorado on that day was the retirement of the recently deceased Rashaan Salaam’s jersey, Salaam being the school’s only Heisman Trophy winner. RB Philip Lindsay supported it all with 161 rushing yards.

PRESENT
Lindsay is doing very well… for the Denver Broncos. Colorado has a sub-par rushing offense gaining only 3.8 yards per carry overall, and only 119 yards per game in the Pac 12. Montez is questionable after suffering a sprained right ankle in the team’s sixth straight loss, home vs. Utah, after which head coach Mike McIntyre was fired. McIntryre was not invited to stick around so the kids could try to win one for him on his way out. In other words, Colorado’s situation couldn’t be much worse. Cal got an unscheduled bye week when the Stanford game was canceled last weekend, should be fresh and fit vs. the downtrodden visior.

3:30 pm
***BEST BET
ALABAMA (-24.5)

vs. Auburn
2017 — L, 14-26

PAST
At Auburn, the previously unbeaten Crimson Tide, quarterbacked by Jalen Hurts, made a bunch of uncharacteristic errors. Auburn’s offense held the ball for 36 minutes. In its 24 minutes with the ball, Alabama lost a fumble, got a field goal blocked, and botched two snaps on a fourth-quarter drive. Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson rushed 30 times for 104 yards and threw a jump-pass TD.

PRESENT
Alabama, with Tua Tagovailoa quarterbacking for a better passing game, has revenge for their only 2017 loss. The average passing yardage difference for Alabama between then and now is drastic: 193 passing yards per game last season, 328 passing yards per game this season. Meanwhile, the Auburn offense has 7 fewer TD passes and 13 fewer rushing TDs than it had in 2017.

Anyone seen Marc Lawrence 10 star?

Marc Lawrence CFB 10* Play - (#162) Ohio State + 5

Edges - Buckeyes: Urban Meyer 6-0 SUATS as a dog with Ohio State, including 4-0 SUATS as a home dog; and Meyer 10-1 ATS versus .800 or greater foes; and Meyer 102-10 SU home in his career, with only four losses by more than 4 points … Wolverines: 0-8 SU here since 2000; and 1-6 ATS as road favorites in this series, including 0-4 ATS when favored by more than 2 points; and 1-13 SU last 14 games in this series, including 0-6 the last six games here; and 1-6 SU at Ohio State when Buckeye own win percentage of more than .900; and Jim Harbaugh 1-7 SU and 0-8 ATS in conference games versus .900 or greater foes that scored 30 or more points in their previous game; and Harbaugh 1-6 SU away career versus greater than .900 opponents … With the Buckeyes now underdogs after having been favored in each of their last 51 games, look for them to pull off the upset and advance to the Big Ten title game next week. We recommend a 10* play on Ohio State.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not Ohio St

No worries exploited17! Lang is taking Michigan:

Brandon Lang

My 200 Dime selection is Michigan over Ohio State. The current line on this game is -5 at 8:45 am eastern time. Be sure to shop around for the best price available. Special Note: If the line on this game should drop to anywhere from -3 to -4 1/2 points, I advise as always buying the half-point down.

Lang vs Lawrence: Lawrence wins by an easy knockout!

Battle of the Handicappers

In one corner you have Marc Lawrence giving out his biggest play of the year, a 10 star on Ohio State plus the points. In the other corner you have movie famous Brandon Lang releasing a 200 star, his biggest college release in his career, a play he has waited 16 years to make on Michigan minus the points. Seriously, was the outcome every in doubt?

The winner is by a mile, Marc Lawrence!
