I posted Lawrence and Powers' Picks in Google Drive. The newsletters were originally posted by Deadlast using mediafire. For me, both Google Drive versions and the mediafire versions work fine.

Something to look at

One thing that jumped out at me for Thursday, September 1 is the Minnesota/Oregon State game. The line opened up at Minnesota -7 1/2 and has moved to Minnesota -13. Here is some trends in the game, which I think have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of this matchup:

Oregon State
• Beavers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games.
• Beavers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games.
• Beavers are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
• Beavers are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games on field turf.
• Beavers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in September.

Minnesota
• Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
• Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on field turf.

Oregon State has a new quarterback by the name of Darell Garretson. The Beavers are a better team this year than last year. Even though the Beavers are the visitors, they could win this game outright. If I am right about the team and their new quarterback, getting Oregon State with 13 points is a bargain.
