Something to look at
One thing that jumped out at me for Thursday, September 1 is the Minnesota/Oregon State game. The line opened up at Minnesota -7 1/2 and has moved to Minnesota -13. Here is some trends in the game, which I think have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of this matchup:
Oregon State
• Beavers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games.
• Beavers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games.
• Beavers are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
• Beavers are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games on field turf.
• Beavers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in September.
Minnesota
• Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
• Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on field turf.
Oregon State has a new quarterback by the name of
Darell Garretson. The Beavers are a better team this year than last year. Even though the Beavers are the visitors, they could win this game outright. If I am right about the team and their new quarterback, getting Oregon State with 13 points is a bargain.
