You don't have a ton of enemies here. What you have are a bunch of people who disagree with what you're doing. That doesn't make them your enemies.

Include me in that group. I know you're a nice guy, a good poster, and generally a well-intentioned person...but that still doesn't justify this.

I don't care if this guy told you that he was gonna murder your parents if you didn't pay up; that's no excuse to withhold the money that you owe him.

You're not the victim here, he is. You owe him money, not vice versa. If the guy got a little too heated because you were slow-paying, then that's his prerogative. Sure, it might've been out of line, but that doesn't change the fact that you owe the guy money, and owe him now.

Imagine being in his shoes...he watches you post your wagers every single day, but you can't scrape together his $100? That's totally unacceptable. What a slap in the face that must be to him, every single fucking day. Considering that, the way he's handled this situation is borderline-commendable, because I sure as hell would've been a lot less forgiving than he has been. If someone was stiffing me yet continued to post wagers daily, I'd be bashing like no other, as I'm sure others would. This guy gave you a chance to pay in a timely fashion, and you didn't. That's your fault, and he is justified in being angry.

This reminds me of the BowlMeOne-MadCapper situation. Only I've never met or really interacted with MC, so I can't speak to his character outside of his stiff-job. But Gyno, you're better than this. Stop trying to justify your actions and just pay the guy, get it over with.

No one's out to get you, no one's your enemy in this situation. We're all people who just want to see a wrong get righted, that's all. No hidden agendas.

And as for not caring about posting here, come on now, it's no secret that you enjoy this place and the frequent interaction you have with other posters. In my limited experience in the online gambling forum realm, I haven't seen another site with anywhere near as much traffic and discussion. If there's another forum that can satisfy your need to interact with others online, then so be it. But either way, threatening to leave is weak. Stay or not, you still need to pay this guy now, bottom line.

I hope this situation gets rectified immediately.

I actually feel the opposite towards this thread. It says alot when a majority of the posters in here feel that you should own up and pay your debts.

Would you feel better if the majority said to "fuck him" and just take the money...I wouldnt, that would be the "eye opener" to me.

After that I'm going to be honest that pissed me the hell off and I purposely delayed paying the guy, I had full intentions on paying him but I was going to make him wait a little longer cause I didn't want him to think his scare tactics worked.

Right here I would've worked something out instead of being confrontational about it. Remember, he could have made an arrangement with someone else but he chose you because he thought you were creditable. If you pay, you still are. Don't forget this, no matter the circumstance.

Now I've been screwed over many times for letting people borrow money before and I know it feels like shit when they don't pay you back you feel used but this is not the same situation

You are right here, you didn't loan him money. But in the same instance, you owe him for an agreement. You got your half, he just wants his.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck to you and hopefully your situation has improved. I guarantee you one thing though - if you think you can go to another board and no one will notice, it will be twice as bad for you.

Now here what really happened, he didn't get his money "RIGHT AWAY" because of the timing of the situation, Cpucrew was not the only one I had done referrals with so there were some rollover issues on top of the 30 day hold that halted me from giving him the $100 "RIGHT AWAY" on top of that I had a poor College Basketball betting period where I lost a large amount of my bankroll more than 60% within a pretty short period of time. On top of that I referred someone else to the Greek a month later which resulted in another hold on the money..

Money was tied up via other referrals I had.. Almost all my bankroll was with the Greek at the time and I lost a LOT of money with that book around the same time I was suppose to pay him..

Money was tied up and I had to wait 30 days for the other referrals to rollover and have their accounts for 30 days as well..

Why was the money tied up?? Referrals have to be deposited into an acct. and gambled before a withdrawal can be made??

I don't mean to be an ass to you but I don't think you understand why everyone is jumping on you. There is no reason for you not to pay this guy. You told him I will give you X amount of money if you use me as a referral. He uses you as a referral, you don't pay. Your circumstances are irrelevant. If you had come on here and said guys, I'm going through rough times, I'm gonna pay as soon as I have it then fine... But you decided to add to the equation, "he said bla bla bla so now I'm not paying."
