And like whale, I know a few that made some money for a while but no one that made it into a lasting good business save the originator of the scheme.

If that was your experience and you never met anyone who made good money long term, it's understandable why the general notion would seem hokey

Avon or Mary Kay would seem solid for your Wife...

SheBar not particularly inspired (just neutral) by skin care/cosmetics products, but in the event she or someone we know is so inspired, the Artistry line of skin care and cosmetics manufactured by Amway Global outsells both MK and Avon.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Whoops. Shoulda read all the responses first ey Bar? Guess I was coming from my 3 irritating experiences.

- Fucking strangers approaching me at the bookstore, homedepot, coffee shop, or where ever pretending to be interested in what I'm doing by striking up a conversation. I spot these clowns a mile away.

- Family members who come at me with their new business cards cause they're pumped from their last sales meeting.

- Friends or old school mates of whom I haven't seen in years. "Hey man (or even better; "bro"), how you doin? Good, good. How's the family? Good, good........(uncomfortable silence), Hey listen I wanna show you an incredible business opportunity that'll change your life."
That's where I hang up the phone or stop the convo ASAP.

As for those who I encountered, I have family members and friends who are ears deep into MLM's. Some of them for damn near 10+ years. Got a good friend/colleague who bounces around with different groups every other year. When he tries with his pitch I tell him, "Haven't we been through this before?".

Gotta love their zeal though.@)

But in all sincerity, good luck in your venture Bar!

*Given those type of experiences, I'd probably be less than impressed myself

*The group I'm working with is not working an MLM, but I know that style of business has been popular for people wanting to be self-employed

*Thank you for the well wishes
