I used to subscribe to all kinds of services—-one of them would provide the “square “ plays info. I would handicap and then cut games I picked that 70% of public were on. When it is was all said and done , the square plays won enough to where I saw no advantage to following along.
I have thrown that and all other stuff out the window this year—-ken pom, Bart torvik,etc, as I found I was over analyzing in an attempt to be “sharp.” I am not sharp at all, but I don’t care anymore about being on a sharp or public play—I just want to be on the winning side.
