Is your name Danny Ainge? Didn't think so.

Then your opinion (is your truth but not objective truth) carries as much weight as mine. Actually less. Because Willie and I watched the Kyrie antics and lockerroom and on court cancer daily and close up. So did Danny Ainge, one of the best recent NBA GMs. Your assumption that Danny Ainge wanted Kyrie signed to a max contract to play here in Boston is just that - your assumption. And an insult to Danny Ainge.

Yea Kyrie spent half of his last season telling whoever would listen that he was out. And the other half telling whoever would listen that he was in.

I don't give a shit what some Boston fans think. I'm talking about my perception of Kyrie. And it's not revisionist. I was skeptical when we got him. Don't forget that he couldn't get along with LeBron either. Any skepticism I had at his signing was multiplied in spades as the Cryrie (thank you Willie) show played out in Boston.

Your assumptions are not truths no matter what lofty branch you think you're on in your sappy tree.
Huh. Who cares what ur perception is...

You said Brooklyn should do to Irving what Boston did...what was that? Lose a player they traded for because he didn't want to be there...

I swear this site. Lol. Love you guys :)

I do wonder sometimes if you're an amphibian.

I'll be interested how you also walk away from your Dallas series bet.( like you walked away form Nets)You going to bet Utah for game 6 after Dallas game 5 loss?

Emotions aren't facts.

C's could have traded him, but didn't. Because they hope they could repair relationship.

This isn't an argument worth having...no matter each person's personal thoughts....end of day C's management wanted to sign him to max.

You're right, not worth having this debate, because you're wrong

The results are in, the debate is over

And my opinion on Mr Flat Earth can be found right here on this forum real time as it happened

Once again. I don't care about ur or Mike's feelings on this...I am sure both of you wouldn't have signed him(who cares)

For the umpteenth time. If Kyrie wanted back Boston signs him without question. I am talking the team not what each fan would do. Lol.

I have no clue what you're even arguing.

But as been stated. Let's just drop it. Has nothing much to do with gambling.

Though if its bucks v Celtics I am up for you and I doing a bet again if you're game. :)

Kyrie a bad fit in Boston regardless of talent level

Celtics could've handled situation better, but worked out OK for them it seems like

And I'm a big Kyrie fan in general

Kyrie is a bad fit anywhere because he is a self entitled, narcissistic punk. That is a little over 6 feet tall.

But teams will always try to harness it.

I don't like him as a player or a person---but i understand value and perceived value. Hell, I told anyone that would listen Boston was winning this series.

Now i have boston fan yelling at me...lol

He was a good fit in Cleveland before he opened his mouth

Honestly he wouldn't be bad on the Lakers back under LeDaddy

He'd be a good fit in a lot of places, as long as they don't mind an iso-heavy offense and have great defenders around. Boston only checked one of those boxes

Just this year scoring 27.5 PPG on 47% shooting, 42% from 3 as an undersized guard. Arguably the best finisher at the basket as a guard in NBA history. But lackluster on defense, and injured a decent amount

Yeah there are teams that will make room for that. But he wouldn't have worked in Boston long term.

Back to Cryrie

I'm 1000% about chemistry and teammwork and character and leadership

It really didn't take long to see Cryrie is nothing about any of that. He's all about Kryrie

You're going to see this play out time and time again throughout his career. Whatever words he speaks, are meaningless. He's just not "it"

It's not worth keeping a player that doesn't want to be there/isn't really liked by his teammates.

Why it didn't work in Boston and why it eventually didn't work in Cleveland

Not hard to understand

If the teams youre a good fit on have to have LeBron or Durant (2 best players of the last 10 years probably, atleast 2 of the top 4-5) then you ain't really fitting in well in too many spots.

The only thing I'd say in his favor is that after the 2018 season, you had a lot of guys emerge in the playoffs for the Celts and when Irving/Hayward got back, they didn't want to take a step back and you just had too many cooks in the kitchen. Hayward also was playing way too much that year based on his pedigree/contract when Brown/Tatum were clearly better. Morris better roleplayer. But even then, he had a team full of guys that could shoot and play D, basically his ideal fit on paper. He came up roses the Cavs dealt him to Boston. He could've gone to a lot of other teams and basically just been a rich mans Kemba Walker or poor mans Dame Lillard in the 7-10 seed range going out in rd 1 every year.

But for the most part he's gonna have to really have the right teammates to excel given he only really does 1 thing at a high level.

Ben Simmons opts out of game 4

Seriously, who could want this chicken shit head case on their team.

The Nets have Cryrie and BabyBen, I almost feel bad fir them

Who's gone next year, Nash or Cryrie?

The Beard is brilliant
