the Nets are an elite offensive team, of course they're gonna score over the course of the game most nights. Otherwise they would just lose by 20 regularly. But they're getting very few good looks from 3, having to shoot contested midrange jumpers, forcing turnovers, best players seeing multiple bodies any move they make.

C's are defending them about as well as you can.

What else are they gonna do? Their offense was always going to just be reliant on how those guys score in isolation with the personnel they have.

Run KD off a double screen on the baseline and try to catch him on a swing to whatever side he’s running to, or start him on the block and double pin down on the sball side. I’d start there .

A lot of possessions he’s just taking the ball down or he’s posting up right away . You can at least create some pressure on Boston by forcing some movement that way

sounds nice in theory as most armchair playcalling does but won't yield much sustainable results, they ran tons of screens the first 2 games and it was mostly snuffed. He just needs to play better....It is tough though, he's basically their center on defense, has to score 30+, play 40+ mins.

Their bigger issue is their defense, it isn't July 4th yet but there is a lot to BBQ out there.

Well yeah, KD does need to play better. That's the main issue

But resorting to having KD dribble the ball down just to get some downhill momentum going is not how to use him properly. Nor is simple having him post without a screen. A ton of possessions in the second half with zero screens

How vulnerable is Phoenix without Booker?

They were 8-6 without him this season, losing to three of four playoff teams they played without him.

They should get by the Pelicans.

If they play Mavs with Luka, they could be in trouble.

They'll be fine if they play Utah

They should be rooting for Utah to beat Mavs in as long of a series as possible

They won't be Warriors without Booker

Pretty vulnerable when you put it in context of their previous strengthened position. Almost a lock vs NOP with him, now only -300 to win the series without him. Vs Jazz or Mavs they wouldn't be more than like 60-65% favs depending on who they play. Whereas with him, you're talking like over 90% vs NOP then 80% vs the other 2 teams.

CP is 36, tough for him to go 40+ mins or he might get injured too.

What was colder?

The dice or KD's shooting?
The dice. KD was simply stuffed

Think Nash can figure this out? I don't. Even if he did. Cryrie would do his own thing

Won't be long before Nets fans want a new PG

Both defending conference champs. Both lost Game 2 at home as around 10 pt favorites. Both lost a key player to injury. Interesting parallels there.
Both should still win their first round series, and both should've faired better in their first two games too

The Jazz should win this game by 20. A return home game after a disappointing loss to an objectively inferior team lol
