Acutually I'd rather not have a vote now that I think about it. If there were 11 people and the votes came down to 5 to 5.5 then I would get all of the blame if things went wrong and I can't have that kind of burden weighing on me.

no worries. win as a team , lose as a team..

Good idea ! It's like a satellite to get in , but sports instead of poker to qualify. You can do it yourself, just seperate funds, bet it anywhere. I'm surprised it's going to 15k entry. How many places were paid ( 100 ?) out of about 2,600 entered ?

I might chicken out if I won the 7 straight bets, though. Maybe enter other than the main event. Playing against Jesus, Danny N., Hellmuth, Mike the mouth, Doyle, etc., I fear I'd be dead money.

reason i say that is twice in the last week i threw someone else's pick in with some of mine on a money line parlay and a teaser and the only pick that lost in both cases was the one from someone else.

i was fuming at myself. i can handle losing with my stuff but not someone else's.

we have a few months to find 7 plays. no rush..
I know, W No.1, I was just kind of joking about Shrinklocks. He had one the other night that missed, and I had stayed away from it.

So everyone funds up w/ their own $100 (or $200), and has their own account correct? We just all agree to play the same games.....

If this is the case, then I'll join in as well.

thats exactly what were talking about .

if we are lucky enough to hit 5 in a row , we might have to cash out for a few thousand and load up at a second place. maybe not.

its been a while since i placed a wager for 8 or 9 grand..

jump onboard . we could use a Superhero for this project.

Excellent, I'm in. This should be fun. What are the odds everyone sticks to the rules if we hit the first 4, lol.. It's not going to be easy to place $3200 w/out cranking it down at least a little!!

can someone verify the WSOP entry fee , is it still 10 g's or has it been bumped up ?

rolling $ 125.00 investment over 7 times nets $ 16,000.

Alright, we've got 6, let's get at least 10, maybe 15. I thought Green Doberman said it was 15K, but someone else said it's staying at 10K. If it's 10K, then we'll need about $110 to pay just over that 10K figure. Maybe $150 is a good number, or $200, whatever we decide. The key will be to just decide that it is a satellite to the WSOP, and an open parlay. No cashing out. That's kind of why I wanted to deposit that set amount in one book, and not treat it like real money, just a parlay. But that's only psychological, and I guess the best thing to do is just bet where the best number and juice are, and keep it separate in our minds or on a spreadsheet. See you all at the final table. :suomi:

Illini, Im in too. You know, this might be a great way to make huge money without parleying it...just betting big. Group of 10 or so rxers, sharing information and only playing consensus. That way if you lose one your not done, fvck that would hurt if you had won the first 4 or 5 in a row. Seems like if we had a thread like that we'd probably hit 70% or so. Just a thought.

7 teamer doing it our way and parlaying it as we go will pay 91.4 to 1, assuming -110 juice. So I think your math is a little off, but no biggie. Just increase the starting amount!

Let's get this thing going. If someone wants to pull out some funds, then I don't see a problem in that. Myself, I would love to be a part of the WSOP so I'm hoping for 7 straight winners! I'll go with an opening bet of anywhere from $100-$300. If you lose, it's no sweat but if we win then:

I think it's a great idea! I've always thought about playing in the WSOP but the money alone was never enough of an incentive, nor is ego or fame or sh*t like that. But an Rx team thing, now that sounds like fun!

Aren't there just enough weeks left in the NFL season so that if we bet one game per week, the final bet will be on the Super Bowl? That's got to be more than just a coincidence!

I think we should send our money to the Shrink or someone trusted by him via Neteller person-to-person transfer. This person would then take the whole amount and place a single bet each week according to our consensus decision, probably at Pinnacle since they have reduced juice and high limits.

The reason we need this person is to make sure everyone is committed. If you send him your money you can't get it back unless we win all 7 bets. And then we need a rule that if you want to cash out and not play in the WSOP you have to give $100 to each of your teammates first. We don't want to win all those bets only to find that everyone cops out and we go to the WSOP alone. At least we want some partial compensation for that.

The buy-in is $10,000 by the way. Official site link:

Probably $125 should be a good starting amount to end up with a cushion above $10,000 to cover expenses.

Thoughts?

i think the football thing is a good idea. that gives us a week to discuss and decide. i would say let each guy put their starting amount in the book we choose and manage it themselves.

if they back out , they back out. i'm doing this for a chip and a chair.

i'm for whatever the WSOP team decides.
