Wheres the update?? 5team right now your my hero, I have been trying to lose weight and going no where. I think the best bet is to try and lose as much as possible in a month to get the ball rolling.

I am a tad over 6'3".

My wife said I have been doing well and said skip the Dr. this week (and don't pay him). I have an 11:00 AM apt. Friday and will update with the OFFICIAL WEIGHT. Hope I have maintained my last weigh in, and will get off the last 10 pound within a few weeks.

I have gotten all kinds of comments from co-workers about the weight loss and that makes me feel good.

THANKS FOR asking on progress it keeps me going and not slacking, will hit the gym tommorrow.

5TP, WTF are you eating?!? Are you controlling your calories at 10-12x your bodyweight? What's your typical diet like?

okay guys, waitress at my favoriet restaurant sells herbalife, the shakes are good and seem to work but its odd to me, i take all the pills twice a day with the shakes and then one large meal at night, works well for me but i cant stick to it, anyone else try herbalife? i know the cost is ridiculous but i dont care so as long as the stuff is good

HOLY INSULIN SPIKE BATMAN!!!

Don't get on Herbalife. Just the fact that you are required to eat a 'large' meal at night gives me cringes.

If you can tell me more about your self, diet and exercise, I will gladly help but if you do, start a new thread, not in 5TP's

Have stopped going to the dr. I may go in for a pop in sometime in the future. I will use my own basic scale and occasionally updat.

TODAY 242.5

9 pounds to go, but I'm doing it all on my own.

What up 5team, nice job on the weight loss. What would you say is the key to your success; diet, exercise, supplements...ect? I ask b/c i recently had surgery and gained about 20 lbs since i couldn't do and physical activity. Now that i am trying to get back in shape it is not coming off as quickly as i expected.

#1 is diet- no beer, more meats and salads, less fried stuff and sweets.
I NEVER NEVER COUNTED calories etc. Used to be a McDonalds dollar menu junkie (those days are gone). At worst I'll get a Chilli from Wendy's or a side salad.
#2 is moderate exercise, walking, swim in my pool with my 2 year old.
#3 lots of water, like a gallon a day always have a bottle of it.
#4 supplements. Not too many, I go days without them. When working I'll pop an OTC upper from 7-11.
#5 support from others, wife making better meals others not pushing crap food to me, making better choices.


HAVE SOME MOTIVATION. I want to be a great role model for my 2 year old son. Eating shit, I'd never feed him isn't being a good one. He's never had a Coke, a twinkie and hasn't had fries in about a year. Am being asked daily: have you lost weight? I'll humbly respond (my fault I had too much to begin with). Getting new clothes etc is very satisfying as well.

Ok BUMPING as I have gained some back and need some motivation to get off 30 pounds.

Today I weighed in at 263 pounds GUHHHH


Going low carbs for a week, and doing laps in the pool, (sports on the poolside TV).


Will update with good news!!!

5teamparlay,keep movin and you WILL get in shape.....i conquered alcohol,nicotine,and obesity....heres how i did it..I NEVER GAVE UP.........ive learned to focus on one thing at a time,and its unbelievable what you can do.......swimmin is good exercise,wish i had a pool.....just remember one thing..we're all in this together and hognuts is pullin for ye.....'keep the continue'

Thanks MH2, the wife is due in NOV #2. Mostly the baby weght here LOL. Some of the new clothes i bought started to feel a bit snugger, it was time to get back with the program.

Hope all is well.
